Food service on sythe

I know people don't want to give out personal details such as addresses and I wouldn't either, but is there a workaround to do this?

e.g. Pay in 07 RSGP for a pizza to be delivered to you by another member?

I know some people have sold accounts that had like pizzas already payed for or something on that account and all you had to do was order it. But Idk how something like this would work without that being done.

 

Well there is the ability to purchase credit on sites like Just-Eat, which you could then sell on I guess.

But I really don't think there would be a market for it lol.

I remember buying pizzas for someone actually for something similar to this. However this would just suit as a user service rather than it's own section.

 

How did you manage to do the transaction? Did the user give you his delivery details?

I don't see why users would not use this service, your saying its been done. Maybe if people have allergies etc.. they should be careful for others ordering on their behalf in case they make mistakes, I'm trying to think of cons.

 

I believe it was on a more personal "friend" level but the idea is the same. A large majority of the mainstream pizza places have online ordering capabilities but they all include and/or require the address (obviously). The biggest hangup here with endorsing these services would be the inherit risk with sharing your address with unknowns.

 

Yeah I agree. What if someone devised a way so that you could register on a website that holds your personal information and only passes it to the restaurant once it has received the money from the buyer (whoever it may be).

Just thoughts. I am sure there is a demand on the internet for this as there will always be a hungry people online with limited funds in accessible currency.

 

Don't see a large market for it in all honesty.

Sell the gp for PayPal then order yourself, avoid having to give out your personal details. Also I'm not sure how legit the people are selling pizzas for 1m etc, is it possible they are using stolen credit cards etc to pay for it; and would you really want that coming back on you since you've given out your personal details?

I'm just speculating that could be a thing above

This, I'm pretty sure most online shops will take PayPal so this basically makes the suggestion pointless, as well as all the negatives of giving out addresses for orders would cause far too much hassle.

 

Easy workaround:
Start thread on Sythe to buy all pizza giftcards online via sythe for OSRS GP.
PS: Best fast-order pizza shop in US is Domino's (thin crust pizza so good it'll make ya slap your own mother).

 

No support, seems good for a laugh but not something worth looking into.

Not much point in this really, You could just sell your RSGP and buy food online with the money you get from it lol.

3 step process:

Sell your gold for paypal or something.

Either pay with paypal or withdraw from paypal to ure bank account.

order pizza.

there's no more steps.
