Basically i have had him on Skype for a while today he popped up messaging me for some OSRS.

I passed my details on to him and he claimed he sent me £25 for the gold he wanted, i checked my bank and realised he had not sent anything as of yet. I then asked for proof of the transaction and he sent me a pic of some statement but the details he had entered were wrong on his end.

I then made him double check the payment details and send me the £25 again and this time it was the correct information but still no show in my account i asked him to wait 5 minutes and i would login and refresh to check for a 3rd time. The money still wasnt showed in my account and i shown him my own statements. He then threatened to make a report on me on Sythe but i said i will open one up for him to show i am not a scammer and i have not yet received his payment.

He has now blocked and deleted my Skype so i am guessing it was all just a scam on his end...

I thought i would add his Skype to a report so if he trys this with anyone else they can maybe search his Skype and find this report. He did say he was a banned member on Sythe but wouldnt tell me who.

I just wanted to cover my own back really.

The guy is a known scammer.

 

Well people need to becareful because he is very good at making fake bank statements!

 

Yeah they are common, people try it all the time.
