Does cartoon network still exist!?

I remember in 2004 or 2005 I was watching it but what happend after :O

 

Cartoon Network does still exist.

I put it on for my 4 y/o daughter almost every morning. (although the shows have drastically changed)

 

I miss those days man.. Ed Edd and Eddy, Dexter's Labratory, Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc.

They've actually rebooted The Powerpuff girls, although it's a new animation style and new voice actors, so it's naturally not as good as the original.

Tom and Jerry is probably my favourite cartoon of all time (the classics, not the 2000+ ones). The violence in it just isn't something you'd see in cartoons nowadays, plus it's great how something so simple as a cat chasing a mouse can have so many episodes and ways of being done.

They recently finished and finally concluded Samurai Jack since they left it open-ended in 2004. I haven't watched it yet but fans who watched the originals as kids have reacted positively to Series 5.

The shows today on Cartoon Network seem to be mostly crap to be honest, but I'm not sure if it's just because we've all grown up and we're adults watching a new cartoon we haven't seen before and not going to have a relationship with or if the new shows are just genuinely shit.

 

Courage the Cowardly Dog was my fucking show man. Used to stay up late all the time as a kid to watch it at like 11PM on CN. God life felt so much better back then.

 

Yeah those were the days, sneaking down at night when your parents are in bed and silently turning the TV on making as much noise as possible so you can watch cartoons all night.

Now we have the Internet and can watch any cartoon in existence as many times as we want, but the it's not the same really.

 

Hell yeah man I feel you. Cartoon Network was the shit back then, and I remember the Disney channel, and Nickelodeon days right after with iCarly, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, Victorious, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Suite Life on Deck, Lizzie McGuire, Cory in the House, Wizards of Waverly Place, That's so Raven, etc. I miss those days so much man... and now all the current Disney/Nickelodeon shows are shit in my opinion, or maybe I just grew out of them since I'm older now.

 

Courage the Cowardly Dog to this day is still the best show ever to air on CN.

 

Still exist! and dont know why but some shows are not completely bad...Steven Universe is pretty good.

 

The shows on their isn't worth letting your kids watch.

Haha, i used to love this...Back in the day they used to have so many good programs on there! I believe they do still have it but probably not as good, just like everything these days!
