Sythe account hacked

MY sythe account has been hacked. I havent been online for a week or so, login today to find that all of my miniranks were traded to a guy named "gladiator" for free. I did not have 2fa which is my mistake, but what do i do from here? Am I just screwed on getting my miniranks back? They also deleted the signature that I paid for. Such a pointless thing to do...This sucks...

Hey @x ski11ed x, I'm sorry to hear this happened. I'm assuming you enabled 2FA now that you came back as you have the minirank, but the best thing to do aside from having that enabled is changing your passwords, but 2FA is the best form of protection. I'm not sure on how to go about the miniranks situation, but I'd message whoever they were sent to, and see if he/she is willing to give them back for your sake.

I'd contact a mod to see if they can actually check your signature reversals. If they can you can get it back easily.

 

I can confirm the above 2 posts and the vouch for @OsHelp are from the same IP (post before and after the vouch for Gladiator). The vouch for @Gladiator was made from the UK, just like Gladiator is, but the IP's are too far off each other to think he traded it to himself. There are no IP audit matches from the UK IP either.

When someone's account gets hacked and the hacker scams people from your account you're responsible for the scams happening too (because you should've protected your account better) so I don't think this case would be any different, unless a fellow staff user states otherwise. If @Gladiator got the miniranks for free the vouches on his vouch thread should be deleted. Maybe in this case he could be so kind to return the miniranks, though it would be up to him. If they weren't for free, he might be able to provide us with a Skype username or PayPal email of the user he has traded with.

That wasn't me that sold you them though. As wortel stated, someone from the UK hacked my account and sold them to you. But it looks like there's nothing I can do about it now....

 

Am I able to atleast retrieve my lost signature somehow? As I don't see gladiator returning the mini ranks for free?

 

How did you come to the conclusion I got them for free?

If you took the time to look through your PMs, you would've realised I paid for them. Instead you make it seem like I was somehow involved, by saying I got them for free.
