Anti scam team

Hello Sythe so most of the suggestions go about scammers, i thought why dont we create a anti scam team who would be in skype 12 hours a day 2 people and 2 other 12 hour ( Maybe more people) and they will check if someone is attempting to scam and be able to give someone dnt until staff can ban them. modt of the scam reports i see people where im like bro i knew you were scammer from day one, this anti scam team would make Sythe forum more checked for scammers and ill even volunteer to if needed pay some people some irl money if the only eay people do this is via hirement

can u guys please leave if you guys agree/disagree and why and if people would love to volunteer


If this happens i wanna volunteer for the team for free!


Edit, also we should get some perms that we can request proof of a trade happening so we can check fake vouches aswell.

 

Anti scam team = mods + everyone reporting people for scamming

Brillant Idea, I'm shocked that someone hasn't come up with this suggestion before. Though only a genius like yourself could have proposed such an astonishing suggestion that could save us all.

 

Yes, but the staff time is precious so we could have a group of people who will be online 24/7 like when a group of the team loggs out other group loggs in so there 24/7 will be logged in, and they check al Sythe creations and sythe vouch pages etc for weird/ fake vouches and they will control fake advertising and those kind of stuff so staff doesnt have to spend there time nonstop on that

You wanna vollunteer? if it is really a good idea it might get accepted but i think this is sarcasm not sure

 

No support, first off you're a ban evader, second you're spamming all over the place, thirdly the staff is the anti scam team. Scamming is going to happen it is the internet

 

I don't think I have the capability nor the knowledge to help you in this enduring quest. Though you should ask @Pendulum, he would love to helpppp.

 

first off make a ban report, second off thing is Sythe staff are people who are trusted to be a staff member, a anti scam team would be people who dont need to be trusted nor will middleman or do trust stuff, and do some jobs staff does to scammers but doesnt have alot of permission, ive been staff member on a mc server for 3 weeks and realized how costly my time on there was,
thirdly yes scamming will always happen but why u so scared that scammers will get taken down trying to defend man ima be looking into ur posts for fishy stuff

I've been a member of the site since 2007. Good luck. Secondly Staff is members who are trusted you want to put a team together of untrusted people in order to prevent scamming is what you just told me. That logic is so flawed. Stop wasting peoples time when these trolly ass suggestions.

 

Okay so pretty much there will be no rank applied only perms and all names stay private so issues with them lookimg trusted and scam wont excist, there also wont be perms other then 1 dnt a day which is if someone needs to get stopped scamming quick, thanks for your. opinion though ill edit post layer and try perfect it

 

So in the first half of this statement you said there will be only perms, in the second half of this statement you said there won't be perms so which is it? Also, if someone is being scammed there isn't anything this team would be able to do to stop it other then ban someone, which is what the forum moderators do.

 

Only perm to give someone dnt, and that only being once in 12hours maybe so they cant abuse it, if they would be able giving 1 dnt every12hours they wouldnt be able to abuse it, and they could only give it if its clear someone is scamming just so until a staff comes on to ban him.

 

So you want to give people who you have said that aren't trusted you want to give them the ability to give people DNT's? Then you want them to volunteer for the position? Just making sure I get this concept.

 

Yes, Once in 12hours though, and thy can only do it if its 10000% sure if someone is scamming and they would need lik 5 of those people to vouch before giving dnt, even if they cant do anything they can work on making reports and then staff can apply bans etc if thy think its fair

 

I'm going to give you some friendly advice think before you speak because right now you're literally firing off suggestions that make zero since and it's literally diarrhea I can literally guarantee 95% of the people who read this have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

 

My english isnt the best man sorry for that, point is like have a team who cant do alot, but who will find scammers and send proof to staff, but who are like supposed to od it to help ;D

 

People can already send potential scammers to staff to look at. I'm so confuuuuuuuuuuuuuused.

Regular users should not and will not ever have the ability to apply a DNT on to someone's account, this is far too easy to abuse.
If you want to report someone for (attempted) scamming you can report them in RaS or if you're worried about something/someone there's almost always a moderator you can contact through discord/PM.
