Changes to pardon voting.

Currently, with pardon's, you need 5/9 votes to pass (or a 60% majority).
Which is fair there no denying that.

But the pardon process has always been slow and I really dislike this. I would like to bring down total number brought down to 4/7.

This would speed up the process of pardon process meaning more people pardon would be done quicker.

I have gone through it and it long time to wait 2 weeks for a pardon to be processed (granted last one I did took 8 hours lol , favoritism)

It seems to go a lot faster now than it used to so I don't think this is necessary at all

Don't support, as many staff as possible should be given the opportunity to give their input and vote on pardons. People who need to be pardoned are the ones in the wrong, and staff shouldn't have to go out of their way to please them.

We should not make the process easier by sacrificing votes. If speed is an issue, you should bring that up with the current staff.

No support as I believe 5/9 is much better than 4/7. More staff get to vote, and if you do think 5/9 is fair then there's no need to change it?

I believe this is a suggestion based on your personal experience rather than what's best for the community as a whole. I don't disagree that it can be stressful waiting, but a lot of people lack patience.

I like how sythe handle appeals and I would go as far as saying that its one of the reasons this market shrives compared to others. (im not talking about user activity here, as all markets are 'dying', but thats simply down to user interest as with communities of all types).

Other markets have fewer staff involved in appeal processes, and some simply have the 'boss man' dictate all decisions, which is self destructive for any community.

No support if you (you being the user) didn't put yourself in a position to need a pardon it wouldn't even be an issue to begin with. Sounds like self inflicted to be honest.

Users requesting pardons have waited a significant time for there opportunity to re-enter the community. Waiting on 9 members who volunteer their time to make a decision should not be of their concern, and quite honestly, should be the last thing on their mind if they need to be pardoned.
