That's what you're basically doing @Mercedes and at @Peaceful1RS. Trying to make the DNT rank less of a punishment. I don't know ether of you so this isn't personal when I say this. I have been around the site a long time, I would be thankful that there is even a DNT. Back when something happened you were one and done and that was it. If it bothers you that much then pardon if it is denied then wait the time before you're allowed to repardon. You say that you can use the market anyway @Peaceful1RS and add them on Skype which is true. If that's the way that you want to go about it then that is your business at that point you're simply just disrespecting the second chance that was given to you. Like I said nothing personal as I don't know ether of you just being honest.

 

You're not making a different argument. You're just reiterating what was already refuted. Yes it is an incentive because you cannot view the market when logged in. That's the difference and which is why this thread was made.

Why? This has no impact on the individual's ability to use the market. They can already view the market in another tab, and regardless of the outcome of this they are unable to post, which as I understand, is the current point of DNT.

 

What they "can" should be totally irrelevant. I could steal a watch from a store too, but we're meant to buy it so we do so. What I'm saying is the DNT rank literally means "Do Not Trade" so why would we allow them to view the market if they are not allowed to use it anyways? It's basically begging for a rule to be broken.

 

Allowing DNTs to see the market essentially makes the rank useless. From there they can just add people on Skype and trade. DNT is already useless and ineffective, no reason to make it worse

 

Your suggestion is basically a TWC, which is what that rank is for. DNT is a more harsh punishment. It's in place of a permanent ban.

 

Not going to expand market viewing permissions to DNT. It is easy to get around, but DNTs are given for a reason and if a user is reported for trading with one, they'll be dealt with accordingly.
