    LOL? that trade would do nothing because 500k needles is pretty much 500k cash so your basically trading cash for needles. Very bad idea.

    Do you think they are going to go through with this update, I think the latest update was to warn people what they will do if the RWT persists and maybe people may stop buying items/money, They will probably reverse it but then who knows what's going to happen.

    I really don't think we're going to get anywhere, jagex wants this too bad. Why else would they take away pking and staking?

    Lets face it, Jagex isn't really run by retarded 12 year olds. They knew this would happen. They knew people would quit, they knew that they would lose money. If there that determined to actually lose money, (cold-hearted bastards tbh), they won't leave any crack in the system.

    MMing is dead, Account selling is Dead, Pins are dead (well they're not but you would have to buy them for irl $ therefor defeating the purpose).

    well the rule is you have to trade evenly within 3k right?
    this would work if it had to come down to it put it would be painstakingly long and boring (depending on how much cash you bought)

    But yea, what you guys don't seem to understand his how young the average RS player is and how high their turnover rate is. They have no reason to care about the older players when most of their money comes from the constant intake of new players. People who started recently or anytime the future won't miss the things their taking away because they will have never had them.

    Jagex is taking steps to protect the younger players and reduce scamming + pointless RL trading, i truly think their interest is in the kids.

    I dont know if this has been put forward yet, but:

    If there is no way to trade anything of great value between accounts then if you gave someone your account details there is no risk that they would be able to steal your stuff. Because in order to steal your stuff they have to make an 'unfair' trade between your character and their own.

    Thus it now becomes possible to simply pay people rl money to level up your character and mine coal or whatever on your character. You can still essentially purchase wealth in runescape its just the method has changed slightly.
