Just got scammed by this guy for ~120M.

Explanation of the trade: He had a maxed main for sale. We agreed to trade his max main for my main, the items in my account and 100M OSRS GP. After I gave him the details on Skype he sent me a message that "it's not working". By then he stole my items and blocked me on Skype (suddenly status changed to Last seen: Days ago)

How they scammed: See above. I trusted him because he is a 9 year old vet on this site and was an active user here. Should've known better unfortunately.

Proof that it's their Skype: Here is he sending me his Skype through Sythe PM and here is his Skype ID.

[email protected] when searched for in Sythe gives i robinson i which is a banned account

They are also on the same IP audit
In future you should search a person's email or skype just to be cautious as scammers/ban evaders sometimes keep using the same one

 

only searched his username for past scamming, would just like this 10 year old account banned so he cannot continue to do this to people.

 

Added a DNT for now. I'm still AFK so I'll get to this later, unless another mod beats me to it, which hopefully is the case.

 

Appreciate it hope this scum doesnt get the chance to strike again.

 

Should've known better yeah, especially if he has been banned before. I guess the "9 year old vet" and vouch thing caught me off guard

 

Damn I bought an account off him a few days ago, he gave me the details but should I expect to have it recovered?

 

YES, take all valuables off he will recover. I looked into his history and thats his method wait until you put gp on the account.
