Sythelib location

This may seem a bit arbitrary but I didn't even know that Sythelib had been released until today. Scrolling through the forums I've never seen it as it is hidden away in a sub-forum under "Technology".

People who are looking for methods of "cheating" or "botting" won't be looking there. They'll be looking in the cheating forum. I am proposing that instead of having it as a sub-forum, not visible from the front page, that we should either make a separate section for it, or at the bare minimum, have a link to it under the cheating section.

The software should be clearly visible from the front page of sythe.org and grab the attention of users just as much as the market section does.

been writing up a little runescape bot in sythelib over the past 2 months but had a bout with some meth induced psychosis and deleted the repo and all local files/backups

hoping to get started again soon to help with the alpha testing

 

Perhaps there'd be more testers if more users knew about it though.

 

I'm saying I think it should have it's own section just below the market. If you don't want to do that yet and wait for the full release, then possibly a sticky in news, community general and gaming general pointing to the sub-forum it is presently located in.

 

I feel like if you posted a public sticky requesting alpha testers to try it out that not only would you have more people testing it but you'll also renew the rest of the forums interest in it. Especially once the complete rs scripts start coming out. It'll be just a small reminder that this does exist and it's hopefully not too far away from becoming a reality since we're so close to a full release.
