Current Events

General Discussion currently suffers from constant thread remakes which can't really hold adequate discussions. I suggest the inclusion of current events, something that would always invite new threads and conversation. I'm aware that you're currently able to post current events content in general discussion, however a change in direction would allow for more current event threads to be made consistently.

General Discussion & Current Events would be the name of the forum.

Current event threads can always be made in GD. I don't think a subsection is a great idea. You should go ahead and post whatever current events you think constitute a valid and meaningful discussion.

I understand but I think it's fine the way it is. General discussion is named to include anything that doesn't really pertain to the black market.

 

Except actual discussion is scarce. General discussion has hit a wall a number of times in which threads are being replicated, ones that specifically don't bring in much discourse. Although what you're saying is true, it doesn't offset the repetitiveness of the forum. The change would invite quality conversation at a higher rate than it does now.

 

Just go ahead and post current events or news in that section and if it grows or expands, then we can find a section for it.
