    Bump Button and Early Bumping
    Hi-

    I've just released a couple new features. The first is a bump button. Instead of having to post saying "bump," you can now just click the bump button on your thread's first post. This button follows the same rules as the regular bump timer (8 hours) and will appear in forums where bump restrictions are enforced.

    The bump button will also allow you to bump early (after 6 hours instead of 8) by purchasing a bump with Sythe Gold. Simply click the bump button and your options will be displayed like this:

    Before everyone asks, the bump cost is calculated as a percentage of all of the Sythe Gold in circulation and will vary as the amount of Gold fluctuates. This calculation was specified by Sythe.

    This is a great addition. I still think bumps will be done manually simply because it increases your post count, but this a nice update nonetheless.

    I don't think an extra 2 hours is worth it. I'd suggest make it 4 hours instead of 6

    Early bumps can only be purchased by using the bump button, just to be clear.

    I somewhat agree. We can ask @Sythe what he thinks.

    No. If you use the bump button, you can't post for 8 hours. If you post a bump, you can't use the bump button for 8 hours (or 6 if you purchase an early bump).

    Two concerns:

    1. People can bump and then post "bump" for double bumping.

    2. If bumping by posting is no longer allowed, will the bump button increase post count? It should.
