Not sure where to post or what to ask.
i use my phone to acsess sythe as i dont have internet/wireless home so i use my phones wireless hotspot data is this allowed? it gives me a new ip adress everytime im on it is what concerns me..?

Ahh good to here! it gives me a new IP everytime i load it up and hop onto it with my computer, thats fine right? is there anyways possible for me to keep it the same ip..?

 

Not sure, I always thought the mobile network works per zones and that if you didnt leave a network zone you would keep the same IP.

But having a lot of different IPs isnt a problem.

 

I dont got a home ip though i live on a 100 acre farm and i just use my Mobile service for everything lol..

So what you're trying to tell me here, your mobile network is SurfEasy | Ultra fast, no-log private network VPN for Android, iOS, Mac & Windows?

 

The mobile network runes off of a setting in which the local router gives you an personal ip that is connected to your device while you are at home. When you move around and switch to a different tower a new ip is given to you. It would cost the internet companys to much money to give you one ip at all times. With the phone network you are on shared ip. If you turn your phone off it gives that ip to someone else. So you can have lets say a population of a 100,000 people but the internet company only stocks 60,000 ip address because they know that all those people want access the internet at once.

If you look at major disasters that happen in an area you notice that when people try to call 9/11 you can hear stories that they cant get through or their phone is not working. This is because there is not enough channels for everyone to connect to.

Its really simple if you are studying I.T Im in my 3 year of college with working with I.T and The way that I set up my network up is like the example above. It would cost to much to supply everyone access at once.

Another example is like a bridge. A bridge can only hold so many cars at once. To many people then you have to wait for the next person to get off the bridge before you can enter the bridge.

I hope this helps. Sythe has nothing wrong with people using more then one ip address from what i have seen. They just dont like it when people ban evade and stuff like that by changing ip address.

@B4it if you stay on that account for a long time and don't create new accounts every time you come to sythe you should be ok to go. There are actually no rules on how you connect to sythe in the scythe member rules. What ever you guys are talking about baking people for using phone ip and thats it is dumb you should be good to go
