Apparently if you tweet someone it's only bannable if they're another Sythe member, if not, it's ok?

Offsite scamming / blackhat (to a degree) is bannable, this is just as bad if not worse because it's essentially you turning in someone who likely does the same thing you do (as seen in many recent cases regarding the staking community.)

Regardless of who does it first, why they do it, who they do it to, anyone involved in it should be banned, whether they do it to a Sythe member or not, if there is conclusive proof they are involved in it. Period.

I don't stake/tweet but I'm tired of seeing more restrictions.

 

This should definitely be a bannable offense, unless the person scammed with that account being tweeted or something similar. I don't see how it could be allowed any other way.

 

That is basically in a way taking another users property away from them. This should definitely be bannable is it a huge scumbag move.

Definite support for this. The amount of reports around this now is crazy and there seems to be a lot of room for argument. Really cracking down on tweeting would remove the toxic stakers from Sythe which would be nice.

 

Support these people are the biggest scums of the community and deserve to be hit with a bus

Support currently krab is trying to use the excuse he didn't know the person he was tweeting had a sythe account. It's not good enough.

 

The loosening on blackhat behavior is meant to not limit staff on handling situations and to further open up the community, it is not all encompassing "if it doesn't affect a Sythe user then it is completely dismissed"; rather, we look at the event that occurred, motivation behind it, and how recent the offense is.

I'll put the tweeting anyone = to a ban on Sythe to a vote in sl and if it passes, we'll codify it in the official rules, but as of now it is already half-implemented (at least one user is already permed for tweeting) and is just handled on a situation basis due to how infrequent these cases actually come up.
