    Looking for advanced hotspot software.

So, I need an extra access point for my home network at the top two rooms of my house as the router in the living room downstairs just isnt cutting it. Currently I'm using windows 10's hotspot feature but honestly, its shit. it randomly turns itself off and just doesn't have enough options in the way of configuring your security options, startup-process options and other things you'd expect from an access point tool.

I also tried some free alternatives by simply googling but they all fall short of my expectations, I'm looking for something powerfull that I can just configure once and then leave to run considering my desktop is already acting as a home server. Currently I'm broadcasting the SSID through a simple WiFi USB Adapter and it works great when windows 10 doesnt automatically turn it off for no reason.

    any suggestions?

In my house our internet modem has to be in the basement. This cause our internet to be complete shit in the upstairs level. However, i bought a wireless repeater and it works great now. You can either use the wifi from it , or connect directly with an Ethernet cable which is what i suggest you do for your current issue.

Here is the product i bought : Wi-Fi Range Extender Wireless Network Signal Booster Router Repeater Antenna
