[DENIED] [Sythe] Logo Redo: Revisited

I like Jiwi's logo, it's fresh. Alt's is good too, but we had that before, I think it would be nice to try something new. As this forum ages I think we're starting to have a lot of members who have been here for 3/4/5+ years who remember all of the different faces of Sythe's homepage.

I do think we should see what Jiwi's logo and Alt's bg looks like that, I think that would make for a sleek homepage.

Agreed. I like the simplicity of the proposed logo, but it's all too similar to the one pre-2013.

 

I like Alteranz's design. Maybe have a sort-of glow to the font as well, it seems there's a slight lighting difference between the writing & crown. Background is A1 though.

Also the background is smooth and sexy but not as good as my skin irl

 

Like the concept of the first one, but really don't like the crown

 

They all look great, but if I had to pick one I would go with the old one for sure.

 

Current Logo + Alteranz BG would be pretty nice I think.

Somebody show an example of that.

 

I dislike the current one and prefer alteranz's because it's simple

I really wanted to see a change for the logo/BG when we moved to a more flat look for the forums. I made this last year some time just as a prototype:





Anywho, I would love to see Alt's work implemented as I feel like they suit the site best.

 

Nice design but takes away the nostalgic feeling of a blackmarket.

I like clean and simple designs which you have portrayed brilliantly in that prototype of yours but I also want to keep that nostalgic feeling of a blackmarket that I've been used to.

 

That actually looks fucking sexy, I would vote for that in a heartbeat

 

I think we got hung up on actually getting it coded, I think I might have some time soon though to try and get it into html/css

Wanted this last time as well as this time. The forum design is so clean and colors feel nice. Has my vote for sure.

@Sythe seems anonymous in Alteranz' favor for a temporary match with the flat theme while the xen layout (html/css) is tweaked. I'd be willing to take on the reskin w/ Moon if that ends up being an option

 

Alright, I just don't want this to hang again like it did last time with the redesign. At the very least I really think the logo+bg needs to be changed to whatever wins here to match the flat theme on Sythe.

I have experience in creating and modifying XF styles and I have a bunch of time over the next few weeks, so hit me up if I can help out in any way

P.S. whoever does the style plz use some damn media queries and/or add some mobile banners cos the current ones stretch the page.

Pretty sure I commented that I do not like the alteranz logo nor do I like that background, again it looks like a child drew it. The current set up is fine. Also Rich can you put back the sythexen theme.
