Status(Ethereum at your fingertips)

Hey guys just wanted to let you know about Status whose goal is to get mass adoption of Ethereum.

Status is an open source messaging platform and mobile interface that allows people to interact with dapps that run on the Ethereum Network. With Status your mobile device becomes a light client node on the Ethereum Network, enabling you to access Ethereum’s entire ecosystem from anywhere.

Status is not just a messenger

Status will allow the user to send payments and smart contracts to friends from within chats, and enjoy encrypted messaging by default, using a peer-to-peer protocol that doesn’t rely on centralized servers. There are many ways this can be used, an example would be a Sythe GFX artist could be on Status and put out his own service, basically run his own business on Status and get paid in Crypto. You can use Status to pay for services. You can use Status to get all the latest information on the CryptoVerse whether that's checking out your investments, or getting the latest news on what's going on in the CryptoVerse. You can create group chats that need a certain amount of a certain coin to get in to the chat, allowing you to connect with loads of Crypto Enthusiasts around the world who support the same project as you. You can build your reputation in the CryptoVerse and get paid for people that contact you for advice. There are many possibilities I most likely have not listed as well.

Status, a Mobile Ethereum OS

The goal of this thread is to get a greater amount of the Sythe community into CryptoCurrency, Status will simplify it into a phone app that is easy to use for us.

I usually don't think about ETH stuff, but this looks pretty cool. In simpler terms, like a "Discord for ETH services"

Yeah, that ICO was pretty insane. It effectively ddosed the ethereum blockchain for an entire day.
