Discord vs TeamSpeak

Which one?

 

I have a Teamspeak server with my community and really like it, but I'm starting to appreciate Discord more and more. We actually have a discussion going on atm if we should replace our server with a Discord one because it's free and it should work perfectly fine.

 

I still prefer teamspeak, discord sometimes disables my mic out of nowhere and it's also not very clear imo.

 

I like discord because I can launch it from my browser. I'm not huge into communication channels, so that's why discord works great for me whenever I need to use it.

 

Discord till I die. Went from skype to mumble to teamspeak to Discord.

By far the best.

 

I prefer Discord because in my opinion it has a bit of a less confusing layout compared to teamspeak. Also on discord your IP is a secret!

I think Teamspeak would win this, because it just has way more options for security on the server.

Discord is great for building a community, but the voice quality is horrible and sub-par to Ventrillo or Teamspeak. I would recommend Discord to anyone, but if you want high quality voice communications then you will to run with Teamspeak.

 

Having used Teamspeak for years I'm already a larger fan of Discord after 2/3 weeks of use.

 

I use both if I am being honest but for different things if I want to have a on going chat, I use discord if just for conversation like planning raids in MMO's etc then I go with TS.

 

Discord is leagues better than every other communication platform Imo.

100% safety, Extremely hard to imposter (Shows a Simple Unchangeable ID in 1 click), No IP grabbers, Easier to start a community (General chats, roles, simple layout, the ability to @ at someone), Good voice communication and a lot of customization abilities/flexibility.

Deleted my Skype and Teamspeak in favor of discord.
