[Food] Jack in the Box - Spicy BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Review

I delayed my review of the guacamole burger, so I had to get this. I love "western" cheeseburgers, so this was a no-brainer.

Price Paid: $4.99 for a small combo





So this burger comes with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce. All BBQ sauces are sweet, so the answer was obvious - go with the spice.

So, you have the typical fancy bun, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato. All of these taste good enough, so I'll move onto the special stuff.

The bacon was delicious and there was plenty of it. I'm surprised I've been getting good bacon lately!

I love spicy food, but I knew to expect nothing out of this sauce. I was surprised I was able to notice some spice by the time I was halfway done with the burger. The spicy BBQ sauce did its job. Obviously, I'd want it to be spicier, but whatever I'll make do.

Lastly, we have the panko-breaded onion rings. I got an order of these when they replaced their old onion rings, and they were high 5/5. If you've got $3.19 burning a hole in your pocket, go buy an order of them. As far as a burger topping goes, it didn't do the onion rings justice, and provided more of a panko breading flavor rather than onion (there were only two onion rings on the burger)

5/5. Great Western burger, although not the best that Jack in the Box has had.

I'd buy this again at the $5 combo pricepoint for sure.

I had another one after this and it only made me want it more. They added more sauce and the flavor wasn't overpowering but it had amazing spice.

It has a lot of potential. 24 hours full menu is really cool of them.

Got this for lunch today and the fuckers forgot my bacon, it was still delicious however.

I hope they drenched it in the spicy BBQ sauce.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to compare anything to that either.

I don't know what I rated the Zinger, but I would sooner eat this any day.
