Sythe Funrank Competition

Hello people,

I don't often make a lot of good suggestions but I have decided to make one today.

In the summer, a lot of people will have a lot of free time as people would have broken up with university, people going on holiday, more people on the computer etc...

I have decided to suggest another Sythe Funrank competition. This will allow users to create a custom funrank and each user would vote on which funrank is the best one.

The winner of the funrank should have the ability to distribute it to 5 people of their choice and would receive the competition winner as well as their own custom funrank.

I have noticed there has been quite a lot of minirank competition however there has not been any custom funrank competitions in quite some time.

If you disagree with me then feel free to put the reason why you disagree and similar if you agree feel free to explain why you agreed.

i think they will have events running in the summer that will offer fun ranks anyway

however heres one i made for my homie a while back

 

I wish I too had your talent of blurring out names but I still think funrank competitions would be a good incentive to get GFX designers to the site.

 

I'm gonna say no to this. I don't like funranks to be flying all around on the site. They should be rare and only rewarded in a very few cases.

 

No and funranks can already be won through various competitions. Off the top of my head, SOTM and Weekly events are a couple ways. Also this way opens up to easily buyable funranks and 5 is way too much.

Either way, funrank suggestions are a no from me.

 

I'm pretty sure this was an idea they were thinking about doing for miniranks? Custom miniranks for business which can be handed out to workers? Can't remember entirely.

I like custom funranks but we've already had a few recently. Like Halloween and Xmas and staff funrank giveaway. Maybe the cdt will create a summer specific event this year (like last year) and give a sunny inspired funrank out..

otherwise I don't support giving out funranks like OP.

 

There will be stuff up in the summer to win mini ranks already. No support from me.

 

Don't like this specific idea, but also don't like how funranks are done currently. It's a very biased system to get the cool funranks.

 

Definitely don't agree with the winner getting to choose 5 people. Fun ranks are those things that I wonder why they exist as it is. They seem to only be given to staff/won through a very limited amount of competitions. They have a certain value that doesn't really make sense and are just given out when deemed necessary. No support.

Good question. At the moment, fun ranks cannot be sold to other members.

 

Don't see why not. Would be very beneficial to those who have them currently. Considering they are handed out almost just like miniranks just a lot less frequently they should be allowed to be sold.

 

I think your idea is much more suitable to a minirank, as funranks are extremely rare & valuable and we shouldn't be looking to devalue them. Support for minirank, no support for fun rank.

We already do competitions for fun ranks multiple times a year, we did a custom fun rank event for Halloween but that won't be a common thing.
