Suggestions/Feedback for SOTM

Please leave all feedback and suggestions for the next SOTM year here.
Here are some of the suggestions/feedback internally from the CDT we are thinking about

if people already have a event winner fun rank they could parciptate and if they win for the year get a fun rank? < requires admin approval

a point system where people get points for participating and more for winning a sotm

a name change to broaden things up to encourage other submissions

implement my "CUSTOM mini rank" suggestion into the reward? Like as a big prize for the points. Spend it all on a custom mini made by you. < requires admin approval and is already in suggestions forum

I would like to see the format changed, it has gotten very stale and not many entries have been coming in.

Can we implement the multiple feather thingy... When you win multiple events you receive a feather that displays the amount of wins you have, i.e. look at thearc's mini (the feathers).

Once you have won a certain amount of the monthly graphic competitions, you then get to hand in your feathers; (perhaps even with your points) to win a specific custom type minirank, which would be like awards SOTM Novice = a specific minirank that represents x3 wins, and SOTM Master = can represent a higher number of wins.

You would give in your feather miniranks in return for this new minirank.

 

Already in place @Sonia. The only difference is that beside giving multiple feathers, and let people exchange them for another, we directly give the appropriate SOTM minirank.

Proof : Swaze, and TheArc both won 2 challenges this year, and they both have a 2 feathers minirank.

As for me, I did not give myself 4 feathers because I was thinking of doing 1, 2, 5, 10+ (where 5 & 10+ would be different colors of feathers - like red, and gold). Basically the same concept you suggested (SOTM Novice/Master/etc.)

 

We're trying to change the concept a bit every year. If you have a suggestion, I'm open ^^

 

Ah yes I like that @Matt thas gonna be beautiful when it ends up with an array of rainbow feathers. XD is rich going to allow gold feather?

I'm liking the feather idea. Will the feathers from previous years carry over or will each year you restart the count? I don't mean like take the current feathers away but I mean only start counting from the new year? Sorry if this doesn't make sense.
