I buy pins I - Imposter Attempted scam

Explanation of the trade: He tried to scam me during a 07 -> RS3 swap. I called him out by asking for a MM, due to his last vouch being from back in 2016. He agreed to use one but once a Skype group conversation was set up he left and deleted me.

How they scammed: Luckily they didn't.

Proof that it's their Skype: Can't find anywhere on Sythe where he lists his Skype - All of his threads tell users to PM him or leave their Skypes. Perhaps other users could confirm that his Skype is as above?

The reason he left is probably because @sammybarcode asked him to PM him which he was unable to do because he was not the real @I Buy Pins I. Let me know, Pins.

 

Apologies if I have flagged up I Buy Pins I unnecessarily due to an imposter - I had no real way of knowing without searching deep into previous posts, and, given the nature of the attempted scam, if it was him and he'd gotten lucky, he could've gotten somebody within the time it took me to look around and then make a report.

I would add, the 'real' I Buy Pins I (assuming that is still his Skype above) added me a couple of hours later and seemed happy to use a middleman - the only reason a trade didn't go forward is I'd already moved my stock and couldn't accommodate his request anymore.

 

@kreaated even though @I Buy Pins I hasn't been active since last Thursday so he hasn't seen this report yet, can we consider this resolved as it was an imposter?
