Wortel Hacked?/Sketchy behaviour :(

Explanation:
Is (quite literally) requesting my in real-life bank information... He is wanting to make a PayPal and is requesting me to connect my bank account to the PayPal he is making. Which means that he would literally have access to my bank account, meaning he is quite literally asking for my bank details...

I love you Wortel but this is just too sketchy... Hope this doesnt ruin our relationship in any way...

The thing is: I live in Germany and had a Dutch PayPal account. I had a EU receiving limit there and had to proof my identity. I can't because I live in Germany now so I had to make another PayPal account, a German one. The German account is unable to link my phone number and bank account to it because they are both from Dutch providers. I'm in the middle of discussing this with PayPal now but it looks like I cannot resolve this. @Buyacc is Dutch, just like @Menno and @Ruben Eason are - whom I have asked the same question. The question I asked them is if they are willing to send me PayPal funds while I pay them via iDeal (Dutch bank transfer). This payment option is non-disputable so there's no danger linked to that. Who would be in danger is me using their PayPal funds.

The reason I need PayPal funds is for my Sythe donation service. Those not knowing how it works: Basically you're paying the bond holder in any currency he accepts and he will donate via PayPal in your name to Sythe. In order to do so you need to withdraw PayPal funds to your bond - without this it is impossible to process any donation.

TL;DR: My previous PayPal account is at the state of being closed and my new PayPal account was/is in need of funds, but I am unable to withdraw this from my bank account. Another solution would be sending money from my bank account to my PayPal account but this might take a few days. I wanted to go around this by just using @Buyacc or any other Dutch member. It's an unusual request, but far from being sketchy in my honest opinion. If I actually would've been hacked I doubt I would've spoken in the same language in the same gay-ish manner as we always do.

I'm not sure if @Buyacc was even serious with this report hence my trollpost as first response @Azie. If I'm not mistaken I believe me and @Buyacc get along very well and if I estimated this report well I'd say @Buyacc was trolling here. If not, here's your response.

@A Broken man I see no reason why I shouldn't be handling a report against myself. Anyone can see the Report A Scammer section and see what I'm writing here, so if @Shin @Tmoe or @video or any other admin disagrees with my decision here they are free to right my wrongs.

It's like all fingers are pointing my direction now and everybody is like "WHAT DID YOU DOOO?!!??!" while it was quite a normal question. Unusual, but normal. Now I'm sad

 

This was discussed and it seems like it just came out the wrong way. Will leave it at that.

 

If I see one more report that constitutes spam in RAS, I will be issuing temporary ban(s).

Keep that in mind. As if this report was serious, I imagine it would have been presented differently; furthermore, I believe Wortel is more than competent enough of a moderator to know when to and when not to handle a report.
