I got to wave 62 and went to c0ngs for a jad service. I gave him the user and pass. He killed jad but i got no cape. He says the game "bugged" and didnt give one and as he says the game "bugged" he says its not a fail.

On his thread it states

"If for some reason we fail jad we will do the entire cave again all supplies will then be paid by us."
Is he responsible to redo it?

neither of which show the full chat log which leads me to believe hes lieing atm.

@c0ngs you need the full chat log in the picture. That's the only way to prove you weren't defeated. If you were defeated, it would say "You have been defeated".

There are numerous cases in which people have killed Jad, and they get the kill count message, however, there is a "you have been defeated" after it. Cropping the message adds suspicion.

tl;dr: you need the uncropped image if you are to prove you killed Jad and didn't get defeated.

 

I've done fire capes again for people without issues.
I didn't die like I told you right after it happend.
I offered you a redo aswell cause I felt bad for you but cbf since you try to use my own TOS against me even tho I've said multiple times I didn't fail it.

Guess what comes after you've completed a task on and that last kill you get a level up,
First: "you no longer have a slayer task"
then the fucking level up message as shown here

unless you're suggesting I died before I "finished your potion" which isn't even possible >_>

 

Read my above post. You're cropping the chat log. We need to see the whole thing. You need to prove there wasn't a "you have been defeated" in the chat log.

 

Are you saying that between the one message you've completed X... and you're no longer on a slayer task there's a you've been defeated, cause if you knew anything about runescape you'd realise it sends the message at the same tick and it's litterally impossible to get a message inbetween >_>

 

You can get the slayer count AND the Jad kill, but still be defeated. It happens in the fight caves as there are numerous posts on Reddit about it.

You're not showing the full chat logs. This would be easy if you showed us you didn't get a "you have been defeated" message.

 

I would fucking give you one, you're asking me to provide a screenshot more then 6 hours after the facts >_>

Defeat message comes after the killcount, meaning tyhat'd be beneate the you no longer have a slayer task/congratz blablabla, there's non there.

Edit: show me a screenshot where it's right in between or before what I showed which are clearly consecutive messages and I'll gladly redo the cave.

 

Shows jad died, didnt get cape, defeated message comes after the task info and stuff. The fact that he wont show a full chat log pic when i swear he probably has a pic of EVERYTHING

Like its actually so much easier to take a whole screen pic instead of 2 seperate cropped pics. The fact that he didnt, wont and cant...

PLUS the fact that i had to go though the trouble to find a picture which there may very well have been none since the rate of somone posting a pic of a not geting a cape but killing jad while on task is id say VERY SLIM

I mean, it still doesn't explain why your pictures were so masterfully cropped to hide the scrollbar and the above and below text.

 

@c0ngs you're held liable to re do his firecape. Denial will result in a DNT until completed with proof of completion.

 

"Masterfully" the fuck you on about, I took a screenshot to show him I killed him, I also mentioned that I even got the slayer level up so I took a screenshot of that + his rsn so he knew it wasn't fake >_>

Ill remember to next time take a full screen picture of all my 3 monitors just to make sure I have everything! don't complain afterwards that im posting porn tho it's usually open on my first monitor

 

For refrence in the pic he sent and the pic i posted of another cape. I just made the connection that the "You no longer have a slayer task" is there just VERY slightly in the top of the 2nd picture. Therefor the 2 seperate screen shots avoid the "You have been defeated!" message.

Because 2 pictures with gyazo is easier than 1 whole screen picture right?

I am willing to give Congs the benefit of the doubt that he would not lie over such an issue + he has already agreed to a redo.

Just send me or another mod a PM when the cape is done.

Edit: Worth mentioning cropping screen shots for specific proofs is not all that uncommon, definitely if you're only sending one piece of information. For future situations, I would suggest saving a full screen picture as well.
