Reporting Mercedes (Framing & Attempted Scam)

How they scammed: Attempted to fake me recovering an account (that he got banned) so he could get repayment.

Explanation:

So over a month ago I sold an account to this kid Mercedes. Everything went well until he started renting it out and it was banned for "Real world trading" It was already stated that he was at fault for the ban by Video.

So why does this matter? Well, a few days after he got the account banned he asked me to attempt a recovery on the account mentioned above (In hopes it would be unbanned) I let him know that I would do it

Later on he asked me about the recovery, I let him know the recovery failed and they wouldn't be unbanning the account. He started whining and saying "How is that possible" blah blah, just a bunch of whining anyways onto the point.

Note: He still had full control over the account at this time.

Now why did he do this? Simple, he wanted me to do another recovery since it got denied, he most likely had 2 thoughts in mind

1. The account can't be recovered (since I told him it was denied) therefore he'd get a refund.

2. The next recovery would be accepted and the account would be unbanned.


Now he is spamming me with contact requests he heard that i'm about to report him lol: Gyazo - 6c929828f64d7c6a9919418283e37c1d.png


Why am I reporting this now? Simply because I forgot to earlier, seems as though he's a scam quit waiting to happen might as well try and get this weed eradicated sooner rather than later.


Alright, so lets get into some details here.

The report he opened on me: Reporting colts7841 - Recovered maxed main

If you look at my first response you can see the email the account was set to: Gyazo - 926897612956647b75cd19d103f73b34.png

That is 9 characters

Now after I recovered the banned account for him awhile later this is the email he told me to set it to [hidden]

Look familiar? The same email it was set to after he purchased the account from me.


His arguement to this was "I made an email look similar to his" Now, why would I go to the extent of doing that? For a banned account?


I believe this user should at the VERY least recieve a TWC (should be a DNT or ban) for attempting to set me up in hopes of getting his money back for an account he got banned.



It is clear as day this user should not be allowed to trade

Ive stayed away from you and I advice you to do the same. Don't hate you condescending douche.

If anything you should be given a couple days ban to think over how you act, treat people, and for your constant bullshit. I've put whats happened behind us, learn to move and learn to better yourself.

I see no incentive for Colts to try and fake owning a banned account while seeing plenty of incentive for Mercedes to do so (aka refund for an account that was banned right after purchase); however, this is not beyond a doubt so I do not think a ban is warranted. Would like more staff input, but I can see a TWC being warranted.

Ps. If you're not actively contributing to a case and are just flaming another, it would probably be better to not respond.

 

@Tmoe there is clear incesnitve into why he would do this.

When I contacted him initially into helping me he would call me retarded and other shit like that so 1 incentive would be to annoy me more 2 incentive would be to recover the account in the hope it would get unbanned... I had some wealth on the account which he could have cleaned

Edit: you think i wanted a refund for the account? I Never once asked for a refund, didn't ask for that in my report, continuously asked just to get my account back. If u look at the report u can see I genuinely thought he had stolen my account..........

TWC warranted for me? Is this a joke? He should be the one with a TWC .. I can promise he's the one who scammed me and is now sticking dirt on me
Would really be shocked if I see this happen especially as I didn't make a fuss about his bullshit as I got my account back and the fact this happened a couple of months ago... people can trade me without caution, him on the other hand..

Ok, anyone with half a brain knew the account was still banned because it could not be added in-game but you were still insisting it was. Where was this wealth on the account when it was first banned? You never talked about it, don't try and pull that one for sympathy.

Oh, it was EXTREMELY clear that is what you wanted a full refund as in your initial report on me and in this initial skype message here the day the account got banned Gyazo - 5486ccd24ec00bfa095e8723ad1d2afd.png you clearly wanted repayment. It was in your mind the whole time. I even told him I knew it was a setup here Gyazo - baaf42a1b9cd5d5a55e3b372a6013442.png after that he wanted to close the report and "deal with it like men" Once he knew I knew what he was trying to do, the whole report against him he was acting like all he cared about was the account.

Oh, and here back in his original report, I drove the point in harder so he knew I was going to report him for this

Which is why he turned around and started back tracking in that original report saying "oooh money??? I had no intention on getting that, I just wanted my banned account back!"

How would that be a joke? Your attempt to frame me was blatant. Your first point of reason for me "recovering" the account when you had full access was to "annoy you"

And when did I scam you? Nowhere did I scam you lmao, yes you didn't make a "fuss" about this because I told you I would be reporting you for setting me up. Yes you did eventually get your banned account back, that's what your big long report was over after all wasn't it? Just to recover a banned account.
