Leave me some feedback here. Hopefully I've treated you well and if I haven't please let me know too. Sometimes I might say/do something stupid but I do mean it with the best intentions.

I'm genuinely curious as to how you actually got mod, not because you're great at what you do, you are great and put a lot of time into doing what you do. However what you do goes against a lot of what Rich has made this forum into. aka the DNT system and has the pardon system changed? Whatever, but you single handily put away so many evaders again and again and scammers each and every time they come back.

So how does a mod who constantly kicks the evaders out go with the whole agenda of having reformed evaders on site whilst still removing them. FireZ just followed the agenda, stop ban-hammering them.

You don't have an AMA yet, so I wanted to ask. Do you expect that each vader will give up and become a DNT maybe pardon and live a happy nice life afterwards, or do you suspect they will keep evading and scamming? Do you think there's anything you can do about them other than ban them every time they come back?

 

How I was able to get moderator is up to the other moderators to decide. I didn't just report ban evaders but I also reported posts and involved myself in the community. No I don't think they will give up - I think they will keep coming and I think they'll remain part of Sythe/any website. For some I wished a home IP ban would be issued but once they realise this they will of course just get on a VPN or whatever.

 

Yeah I know one of the rarer staffs that don't need to join up to a dev team.

Sounds like you have a lot of banning to do.

 

Without a carrot doubt you will do a fantastic job. You will be an asset. I suggest you start charging other staff members for mod score. You may create an monopoly.
