Talked to zedrs on skype after and he said the original owner is recovering it. 41+ hours passed and he said he is going to login on video.. he told me there was no gold on the account. The login screen said 'you last logged in yesterday' but if you log out of an account for over 24 hours it will say you last logged in 2 days ago no matter what time zone you're from. I told him this and he told me we are dif time zones but that wont matter it will still automatically say you last logged in 2 days ago. I am going to assume the original owner recovered it took my 593M and then resent a recovery email to zed and thats why it said last logged in yesterday? I dont think zedrs was lying i think the orignal owner scammed him.. I would like a full refund.

^ zed even admitted it was over 47 hours ago.. it will 100% say last logged in 2 daysago on the screen not 'you last logged in yesterday'

The account got locked around 7pm my time and @Casper (the original owner from whom I bought the account was informed at around 11:30pm same day that day (17th march) to recover the account.

On 19th March, 1:20pm I got the links to reset password/email for the account since Casper has got the reply from Jagex and he told me that he has sent me the links without opening the account or changing any info. I turned on screen recorder and changed password + email, logged in the account, it said 'last logged in Yesterday' while the account has no gp in it.

I have the video if any mods want to view it I can send it to him in private

I didn't recover the account until Zed informed me it needed to be recovered on March 17
I submitted the request around ~12pm the 18th

When I returned the account Zed transferring the email/pw back to him.

 

I know im not suppose to post here but if you notice on the pictures on the disconnecting picture its not the osbuddy client and on the other picture which it is locked it shows he is on osbuddy you know just kind of interesting...

47 hours were passed from the time we were talking that time since account was locked. When I logged in for the first time, only 42~ hours were passed since account was locked

 

You can easily get an account locked with simply having the login name of an account...many methods to do this.

1. He faked a DC (by unplugging router or whatever, easy to do).
2. He took a pic of the DC with the GP on the account. Notice how the picture is so perfect that you can see the DC + the GP on the account. How can he take a picture of the DC that quickly, usually if you DC it takes no more than a second and you're in the login screen + you wouldn't be expecting it so you wouldn't think of taking a picture in that 1 second or so time period...? He clearly faked the DC and took the perfect picture to entitle him to a refund as the GP is not on the account after it was recovered.
3. The original owner recovered the account and 0 was on it, because nothing was ever on it, he's trying to pull a $600 scam by faking a DC, getting a good looking picture, taking the 593M off the account and getting the account locked manually.

TL;DR I know I'm not involved but he's clearly trying to pull off a scam to get a RF based on sythe rules.

 

1. Probably/plausable
2. Bullshit, if you get kicked while also locking the account by for example pressing forgotton password & using the reset link the disconnect screen stays up for 10+ seconds easily; proof;

3. Speculation you have no proof that the original owner didn't log in on it before handing it to zed. Mails can easily be deleted

 

Accounts usually only gets locked in these two cases: 1. Major hacking events. 2. When legitimate account recovery appeals are sent to Jagex.

I believe the time is based on UK local time. Not sure though.

@ZedRS: Your customers must leave the private chat 'on' I believe you monitor what world the account is in etc. in order to comply with your TOS. Did the account logout, in again and then out again? This could prove a fake DC etc.

Something very useful: full view of the screenshots taken by the reporter. What time was the DC screenshot taken and when was the second screenshot (of the locked screen and livechat) taken.

You cant ignore the fact that it got locked for 47+ hours and when he logged in it said you last logged In yesterday. Its a known fact if a account is logged out for over 24 hours it will say you last logged in 2 days ago @Excelont

 

Account got locked 7pm 17th March my time, and the time I logged in was 1:20pm 19th march. Thats like 43-44 hours

 

Will have a decision within the next day or two.

 

OP is an extensive scammer and there is a lack of proof regarding wealth lost here so zedrs won't be obligated to refund anything. However there was some false information shared from zed regarding when the account was logged into after it became unlocked so he's been given a twc for that
