Add my msn [Ex-sectional Mod]

Hello Admins,

I had recently come across a few add my msn impostors who put their skype profiles as [50$ Donator][Ex-Mod]. After looking at this I decided to ask around and most people said that Add My MSN was indeed an ex-sectional.

My question is why can he not be given the ex-sectional mod rank. He was a staff member and he was retired. This means he should have the ability to have this rank.

Can we get an Administrator here to give him the rank.

From what I remember he went from mod --> straight to being banned back in 2011. Generally mods who went out this way don't get the ex-staff ranks (although it is case by case a lot of the time).

Regardless, it's up to him and the upper staff if he wants the rank, it doesn't involve anyone else.

 

Yes but had he not be banned then he would have kept the rank for a longer period of time.

Also he was not given the rank because apparently you need a '3 month mod rank'. Problem with this is that it was a fault with the Administration team giving him moderator without realising that he had broken rules.

Therefore there is no issue with that. If he says he is an ex-mod and doesn't have a rank could you technically call that rule breaking? He was a mod but it does not reflect in his title. There is no mention on the forum that to hold an ex-staff rank you need to be staff for at least 3 months.

The issue lies there. Its a grey area and ex-mods need to have some sort of proof that they were staff previously. If you yourself were a staff member @Laptop65 and got banned after a day you could still technically call yourself an ex-staff member however it would not reflect in your sythe profile. That is where the problem lies.

 

I actually was a staff member once upon a time, however I was demoted, not banned. Yet I didn't get the ex-mod rank did I?

The rank goes two ways, there's nothing wrong with saying you're an ex-mod provided you were a mod once upon a time (whether you have the rank or not doesn't matter). You can link to your original promo thread for proof if people want it.

The rank is given out to ex-staff who DESERVE it, not all ex-staff are worthy of having the rank. It's kind of like being disavowed from a government, it's a case of "yeah he was with us but we don't want anything to do with him or recognise him as one of us anymore" kind of thing.

If a rank was not handed out, it was admin discretion and there is reasoning behind it

i got the ex-mod rank even though i was mod for 30 days then got demoted and banned

 

It's kind of like how I lost my rank for sending nudes to Video

pretty sure @Add My Msn was framed and wrongly demoted/banned by finn so he actually should have the ex mod rank

 

lol who knows man, chloe got ex-global after a week and art was most definitely a moderator for longer than that.
