Question about rsgp buying

I dont know if this is the write forum for this to be posted in but i have a question.
So im thinking about buying around 500m 07 rsgp, but i hear of a lot of people being banned as soon as they purchase. My question would be, does the account involved in the trade get banned or is it more of an ip sweep. I am going to buy in 100m incriments anyway to limit my chances of ban, but would my main account be ok if say my lvl 3 got banned for rwt? Or would jagex sweep my ip and possibly ban all acounts. i am going to drop trade the money from my lvl 3 to my main but i jsut want to know for safety reasons does jagex ban all acc's on ip for RWT or just the account that receives the money? Again sorry if this is in wrong forum.

 

As a customer you probably shouldn't worry too much because you don't trade gold excessively. Big gold retailers are more likely to face a ban or multiple bans.

Both are possible, but the risk is low.

 

Jagex stated themselves its a perm ban for the gold sellers and a 2 week ban for the people who buy the gold. I'd recommend buying in increments and using multiple accounts in order to avoid getting banned in the first place. You could even take precautions like changing your ip between hopping/creating accounts.

 

Buyers are safe man 2 week slap on the wrist even the chance of it happening is very low. I avoid buying from the ******** that move 1b+ daily though because I'm paranoid. I stick to the normal dudes that are trusted with good feedbacks.

 

Buyers are way more save then the sellers

 

I've been belligerent in the past buying from the ******** companies buying close to 1B in a period of a week and no ban.
The risk for the buyer is really though. Think of it like the cops. In the grand scheme of things are they really worked about busting the buyers or the suppliers?
