Do Not Suggest List and FAQ Suggestions!

Hello everyone,

It has come to my attention that various global moderators have decided to ignore me. In this particular example I am going to use the case of @Tmoe. A couple of days ago I told him on Discord to remove certain things from the Do Not Suggest list however due to the fact he is too busy selling his names and looking for services for his Runescape account he is unable to edit a thread as he needs his money to afford his monthly rent.

I have decided to prove this by attaching an image here:


Because of this, I have decided to create a suggestion with all the stuff that is wrong with the Do Not Suggest list.

The DO NOT SUGGEST list.

Remove:

More Moderators (Moderator Applications)
Sythe Currency (already implemented)
VIP Forums (Donator Lounge)
Postcount limits/requirements and Vouch/post requirements to certain sections - Already been done (look at upper spam forums)
Porn Section (upper spam forum/NSFW in Discord)
Ability to upload own 150x150 Avatar/Larger Avatar Size (Donator Rank)
Troll section (Spam forums)
Vouches for GFX (People can vouch for GFX anyway, this doesn't matter anyway)

Instead for the following, add them to a FAQ section rather than the Do Not Suggest List. Its a waste of time since the stuff that has been implemented doesn't need to be in the DNS list since it has been suggested prior/readily available.

Add the following to a FAQ section:
VIP Forums (Donator Lounge)
More Moderators (Moderator Applications)
Porn Section (upper spam forum/NSFW in Discord)
Ability to upload own 150x150 Avatar/Larger Avatar Size (Donator Rank)
Troll section (Spam forums)

This would make it easier as new Sythe users would understand that these suggestions are already there. Nobody is really interested in the spoiler for the DNS list not to mention that the Do Not Suggest list clearly states Do not suggestion anything on this list unless you have a new and very convincing argument for them. This ultimately means that anyone can come up with some kind of suggestion and have a convincing argument and it would pass (an example is Sythe currency).

Either make a new FAQ thread outside of the DNS list or add it to the bottom of the DNS List outside the spoiler. The spoiler should be important explanations of why to DNS. Things like 150x150 avatar space would be more of a FAQ compared to why not to suggest it. It is already in place so to suggest it again would be stupid.

I appreciate you making a formal suggestion opposed to sending me a jumbled discord message that I lost track of shortly after the initial viewing. You are not the only person that PMs me in discord and your failure to send a follow up message did not bring the message to my attention. I cannot always immediately respond to every request and it is very easy to overlook a singular PM (could always have messaged me again).

I will respond in full to each bullet once I am off my phone, but just because there are exemptions to something on the DNS list does equivocate to the suggestion now allowed to be made. With that in mind, many of them will stay on the DNS list. For example, we do have moderator applications; however, you are not allowed to suggest more moderators.

Also you're not allowed to vouch for graphics.

 

Also community moderators exist. If theres ever anything wrong with stickies or outdated info in the community forum I am here to help.


As for this suggestion im going to throw this into the SL as per this: We are changing up how some of the suggestions work

And we will update what we think needs to be updated on the list in the next few days.

Also @Tmoe is free to adress whichever ones we wont be changing and his reasoning for doing so.

Like for example porn is allowed in upperspam forum but that is different from what a "porn section" is. So that one will be staying
