RIP Lame/Nick (1994-2017)

This week we lost two members that have been a very active part of our community. You may not have known both of them as they were on the opposite side of the spectrum, but they both contributed to the website greatly and were our friends for several years.

Last I heard, @n4n0 's friends (RIP n4n0) are organizing playing a game together in his honor. @Lame 's friends may be organizing a GoFundMe to relieve the family of the costs and I will update you here if that happens.

Nicholas Vietri (1994-2017)

Nicholas, known as @Lame (formerly Lame123) was an avid memer on the website. He often got in trouble around the website, but he made the Spam forum funnier. Many friends, including myself, will be greatly missing him. He cheered everyone up that was around him and helped lighten the mood. I'm going to miss his distinct voice and catchphrases that came with his random appearances in our Discord. Nick had a bright future ahead of him and he was taken from us way too soon.

RIP lame, I will miss our discord conversations that usually ended in "kiss me"

 

It's always sad to see people go so young. I wasn't personally close to him but was shocked and upset when I found out.

There is a 13 minute video with photos of him which I watched and felt even more sad.

@Grave do you know what the cause of the death was?

Rest well Nicholas.

 

Cause of death was accidental overdose. He possibly received the wrong drug or it was cut with something dangerous.

Sad couple of days for Sythe, my condolences to Lame's family and friends.

 

Didn't know Lame sadly, but seems like he will be missed. Wish I could've maybe had some fun in the spam forum with you. Fly high brother. Right around my age and I would hate for this to happen to anyone and especially anyone too young.

 

So sad, honestly is. I wish the best for his his family and friends.

Bit of a long shot because we can't just get miniranks for every one of us who is no longer with us, but if I recall correctly Lame was quite a valuable Sythe user. Jon and N4N0 have gotten or already had a minirank dedicated to them, but Lame has none. Would it be worth looking into getting a minirank dedicated to him too? @John @jackthehackm8 @Astro

he honestly i believe would be, he had a huge impact in the spam forum and contributed to sythe in many ways, he was a valuable member of sythe and I truly believe both n4n0 and lean should have exclusive non-tradable miniranks
