Nintendo DS or PSP?

Which one is better? Or which one do you prefer?

(A topic like this probably is already made, but I can't find it)

I just want your opinions.

I prefer the PSP, but I think more people own the DS. I own a DS, but not a PSP. I like the PSP better, because of the mini-joystick, and because it's graphics are pretty good.

 

Name a killer must have game for the PSP...

That's why you should go with a DS

Not saying that there is no good games for the PSP just no amazing ones. Plus it really doesn't work as an mp3 player since the controls suck and UMD movies are practically extinct. You could watch movies on the MS2 card but it's a pain.

 

-GTA (both)
-MGS: Portable Ops
-Monster Hunter 2 (prolly first too)
-Worms (both, lol)
-Flawless classic ports like FF Tactics, Crazy Taxi, and such
-<insert any epic PS1 games (you can play them on PSP semi-natively), I can name a ton>

and some games like Syphon Filter and Starwars Battlefront have pretty good online gameplay. DS sucks in that area.

And if you're going to install custom firmware, you have access to loads of homebrew (and ability to dl pirated games, if you wish lol).
I can emulate SNES and GB extremely well (GBA and N64 games are slow to emulate though, but many run fine, most N64 don't, but that's hugely the fault of the programs, which are being develeoped)
I also play a port of Quake online with my PSP. Have fun with your DS bubs... teehee

Ds just sucks, Nintendo just got old like pokemon you know? no one wants Ds's anymore, little kids want it because its more friendly towards the young crowd. its like this.

DS- ages 8-12
PSP-13-17
Real Systems (360 and PS3) 17+
Its like the game ratings for Counsels.
I mean look at the Ds's games (pokemon, animal crossing, barbie girl and shit like that) i mean i have to admit that emblem sword, final fantasy, and pokemon are good games but they get old (cept FF but its better for PS2).
But yeah, Nintendo got old and Microsoft and Sony are dominating the game market.

 

PSP, better games, graphics, etc. The only good thing Nintendo has/had was the N64 and Supernintendo.

PSP and any PS console own due to the fact you can play Final Fantasy 7 on all of them

 

i own a psp but my brother has a ds..
i love teh psp i play online on socom ftb2 leel its also good graphics and i go on sythe sometimes

 

The DS is better in so many ways. Also, the DS has better games :s

Psp's way better, better graphics and better games. You can go online and to different website, ds all you do is hit the screen with that thing and make the guy move.

 

Wow, that 2nd PSP is so 1337...I see DSes everywhere though. And most of the people I know have one, maybe they're cheap and uncool.

 

i own both i like the psp, better graphix, better games. but the ds i like for the touch screen and how it closes XDXD
