    SteelSeries Sensei replacement

Hello. I currently own the mice called SteelSeries Sensei RAW Rubberized which basically looks like this: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41BJ5Qgu+pL._SY355_.jpg
I have always liked SteelSeries gear however this mice has some issues:
    A) Whenever I want to use the scroll button it either scrolls up and down at the same time so I have to spam it.
    B) Because this version is rubberized alot of stuff seems to stick to it which is terrible.
Therefore I am looking for a new mice even though my computer would need more of an improvement.
Anyways I am looking for a mice that has:
    - DPI/CPI switches
    - Not too many buttons
    - Has one curve as design

I have heard great rumors about the SteelSeries Rival and considering buying that one, but feel free to let me know about different alternatives too. The Razer Abyssus also seems quite promising.

I have the same mouse except its the non-rubberised Frost Blue edition.

Don't have any of the problems you described. paid 20 EUR for it on tweakers (a site you might know ;))

It does seem to be a well known issue with the Sensei if you google "Steelseries sensei scroll wheel jump" but the only fix there is taking the whole mice apart which I'm not really planning to do.

Only concern I have there is the non-braided cable of the mice. My SteelSeries Sensei has a braided cable and I quite like it.

The Zowie FK1, FK2, EC1, or EC2 would probably suit your needs. The FK1 and EC1 are a few millimeters bigger than their "2" brothers.

I used to use the FK1 (still my back-up mouse), but got tired of cabled mice so I got a Logitech G900. The FK1 served me extremely well though.

EDIT: Should mention that I also had a SteelSeries Rival for a while before the FK1 too. It was a great mouse as well, but the textured rubber thumbrest on the left side wore down after like 4 months.

Not really, I have a cable bungee that would keep the cable suspended in the air and from touching the desk. Got rid of any drag/movement issues.

Some $8 bungee I got from amazon lol, it says AOBOR on it.

You really only need something to keep the slack from dragging on your desk, I know some people who tape the cord to the top of their monitor lmao.

If you still need help with this, the razed deathadder is my personal fav and fits all the requirements with curve, side buttons, and only 2 side buttons :).

Razer Deathadder seems to be my go-to for now, but it's so expensive for a mice :( The cord isn't braided right?

A bit too pricy and too fancy imo. The Rival of the Steelseries does seem one of the best series of mices there though. I should've taken the Rival instead of Sensei for sure.

I am another who will vouch for Zowie. I am using the EC2A specifically because I prefer the smaller size and ergonomic design. I noticed a good difference from my old Razer Deathadder, mainly the size which makes it feel a lot more comfortable.

The cord is fine and I don't feel it has any issues. Also like the fact it has no buttons on the right side.

Have a look at their range and see what you think - also why not go down to an actually store and try how they feel, always a good idea.

I love my G502 Proteus Core.
Best sensor going, great size for larger hands and the Logitech software works very well.

About time to replace it now so after having a couple beers yesterday I figured I might aswell buy the Zowie FK2 immediately. Not sure if I even bought some guarantee along with it, but it sure was about time. My Sensei started having it's own free will now by scrolling up and down on all tabs for no reason.

Got the Zowie FK2 now. Looks cool and feels alright. Gotta get used to a non-rubber mouse and the different DPI switches.
