Sythescape Testing Minirank [BETA TESTERS READ]

Hello Beta testers,

We haven't had enough feedback or as many bug reports as we expected and this is just a thread to follow up on your experience with Sythescape.

Is it too hard? Too different? Waste of time on your end?

We are also thinking of rewarding players who make it to 1k total and constantly report bugs with a cool Dragon Claws Minirank.
Getting to this goal shouldn't take too long.

Either way let us know what you think of the SytheRSPS and how your beta testing experience can be improved.

UPDATE: So my watercooling system started leaking and it melted my GPU. My current laptop has a shitty CPU and RAM so its hard to do anything. I wont be fixing bugs until later next week when my new GPU and Cooling system ships.

Plus prepping over 75 hours of playtime and the original list for you fucks on Alpha is nothing? smh.

I can confirm soul did put a lot of work on the alpha, however I have not seen gun log in and do much testing.

 

From the alpha i would only give the mini to @jackthehackm8 and @RS_WHISKEY and some other guy. These 3 kept constantly testing and came up with lists of around 50-100 bugs.

I'd be happy to begin actually playing it and find and bugs along the way, searching for bugs themselves are tedious but finding them along the way of training shouldn't be an issue

 

Are you honestly fucking stupid? I tested the entire alpha to maxed stats just through training and finding bugs and provided an entire list to your predecessor. I was the first on on the Alpha after Richard.

 

@Gun then that was before we took over the project. Richard would have to confirm that.

 

Search and Quest tabs cause client to freeze. Members cannot access members area. Impliment a trade limit for new accounts. Purchasing multiple items in a shop does not work. Does work with your bank. NPC and Item IDs show when they are clicked. Range xp rate is off, alot.



Tables at home tele dissapear once you enter. Woodcutting inside of the "woodcutting" teleport area does not work, period. Only show drops of rare items in the chat box, causes spam. Timing for magic attacks are off quite a bit. Closing the client take 5-20 seconds. The hunter skill is physically there, but not attainable. Raise the gambling limits, and impliment new games. Aviansies at GWD hit with melee, should be range.



The following bosses will be dead content: Gyazo - d159a9c5b13d1ccbbcd80f52c1c86eef.png Clicking a PM does not allow you to reply. Friendslist needs to be attached to the DB listing all account names. Cannot stand on the tile in front of the "General Stall" thieving @ home. Clicking the scimitar thieving booth makes you run all the way around the wall and run through the wall itself. RSPS voting needs to be attached to the ::vote command. Vote Points need to be implimented.

Remove "Fight Caves" as it is attainable for members. Leave it as a members perk. Level 133 Tzhaars bug when attacking and upon death. You can only exit the Wilderness Resource area by standing on the single exit tile. Trees disapear entirely when cut. When exiting the Resource Area you teleport 2-3 tiles. You cannot switch fishing types when the animation is going. There is no warning message when teleporting to "Castle" in PvP teleport tab. It does not allow you to enter or exit the corp cave.



You can only open the door @ slayer tower on the eastern tile. Pest Control items should be buyable with credits. It is not feasable to run PC games(25 people required). Large delay when using teh Tavelry Dungeon agility shortcuts. Graphical issue - Tavelry dungeon "strange floor" shortcut is glitched. Remove Fishing icons over the lava in Tavelry dungeon (No fishing spots, nor need for them there). Some Blue Dragons in Tavelry dungeon are fixed, cannot move. When buying items from some NPCs, there is a processing time. It will not allow you to purchase another item instantly. When dying, your body reverts back to an upright position.



When dying, your body reverts back to an upright position. There is about a 2 second additional delay upon death before you respawn outside in the duel arena. You cannot accept a Duel Arena challenge by clicking on it. You have to physically click challenge on the person themself. You are unable to forfeit a duel. If a player logs out during a duel, the other player remains in the arena. When a player who xlogged from the duel arena logs back in, they are still in the arena. The teleport message appears in chat, even if you were unable to teleport (combat, duel, animation). A multitude of items revert to the kicking animation, but still do the damage of said weapon. You cannot buy rotten tomatos @ Duel Arena even though you are prompted to it. The voting booth at the Duel Arena is dead entirely.



The acient magiks altar at the dueul arena only shuffles between two magic styles. Entry to GWD should be 10 KC due to the lack of goblins/aviansies available. Any tiles that are elevated cause graphical glitches. Most of the time your character stays on the same plain, rather than adjusting the elevation. Removal of the scroll bar in the "PvP teleport" tab. XP totals sit far below the XP icon: Gyazo - 9ef3ab8a13dcdaacb30f2201b80d5708.png Auto-chat spam time from the server needs to be adjusted. Remove the Quick-Chat icon next to the player username, it's useless and has no functionality. Yak Re-spawn timer needs to be decreased and drops removed. If you Home Teleport while running, your finish running before appearing at the home location. Sailor NPC has no functionality at the moment.

The Titles shop makes you purchase one at a time and does not retain purchases. Keep if you want a credit sink. Removal of the Decant NPC @home, it will not be nescessary for a RSPS. Graphical glitch with "Game Instructor" NPC on the 4th screen of chat. Add more attractive cosmetic items to the "weapon game". I think it will be really popular tbh. It's like "Gun Game" in COD.
