1 year mute fml

got a 1 year mute on an account im super active on -.-
Was in a cc w/ mostly homies, where they asked about sythe, i simply help them out. and I get a 1 year mute because someone was lame and reported. Jagex denied my appeal, where I requested that they just ban me 1 week, mute me for 2 so I can learn my lesson, but denied.

any tips on what I can do? I am trying to contact jagex support.

They were asking about account prices on sythe, I simply said "I've sold 2 accounts, you'd probs get ..."
yes, it's dumb to have mentioned that, but it's a fairly small cc where everyone is pretty chilled, and I am going to assume I am the only person who got the report too. So really shitty. Trying to message jagex about it on email.

I've written something up, does anyone know the support email? I really hope this works, or I am kinda fucked. I've put so much time into my obby mauler, lmao. A mute on it is brutal, makes pking so so hard.

Hey, just today I got a 1 year mute, which I understand from the evidence supplied, I deserve to be muted; I appealed to not luck. I know, a player doesn't necessarily know better than someone who works for jagex, and ultimately decides punishment, but I would really like to discuss an alternative, less harsh punishment, but one that is still deserved.

The account is called "..." recently changed my name from "...".
Now, this mute was definitely deserved, for what I encouraged, I definitely do deserve it, but considering my account history is clean, I haven't had any offences before, I would really, really appreciate it if I could have a less, but still harsh enough punishment, I am talking about something like a 1 week ban and a 2 week mute, or something along those lines. What I did was wrong, which I understand, I definitely want to not break any in-game rules again, It was incredibly stupid. After this I whole heartedly intend to start reporting offence breakers, and be a better player myself.

But the 1 year mute is just so demotivating for me to keep playing, it really makes a lot of activies like player killing and being active in a niche clan (my account is a niche build) for other people with the same kind of account build.

I wholeheartedly want to improve others' in game experience, as well as mine being a better player, and it would really mean a lot to me, if I could have this one chance to get a lesser, but still justified punishment for what I have done.

Jagex support on twitter said there's nothing they can do, mute's on for 1 year. So fuckin' retarded

 

You always need to use code language when talking about Sythe on Runescape man... For example when I talk about Accounts on Sythe I would say:

Me: The bananas are about 100$ each

 

I am a retard, nvm. I read the thing wrong, so the offense expiry isn't the mute itself. I got a 2 day mute lol. So yeah, still be careful

 

That shit is so classic, my barrows pure has had 15 mutes since 2014. Thankfully they've expired but I couldn't imagine a 1 year mute, jesus

 

Same thing happened to my friend back in like 2009.. He simply wrote "redtube" and bam..

That sucks. Never been muted but had to change an 'offensive' name before. Got reported for the name 'Kill_Ursalf'.. That was pretty lame when I see some crazy names people are walking around with these days..
