Did you check both IPs? Also it seems to be a home IP to me

 

I did. One seems a work IP and the other is a proxy. The home ip's are clear.

 

What do you mean by a work IP? He just happens to work at the same place where other banned users have logged in from or?

 

I think so. Seen it a few times but as it's not Home IP we give benefit of doubt.

 

So 5 banned users and 1 non banned user all happen to log into sythe.org using the same "work IP"?

Sorry to reply here. I've looked through Billy Cane's posts and the ones of who you think are linked to each other. Most of them are actively selling or buying 07 accounts. Billy Cane isn't. Billy Cane is mainly interested in RuneScape 3 in which he sells accounts too. The only one of the banned ones who has made a thread of a RuneScape 3 account is @crack. His thread can be found here: level 100 eoc account. Based out of this I'd say there isn't enough proof. I'm not saying he isn't a ban evader, as I have reported him before aswell. Though I guess we're still lacking proof.

 

So then he just happens to work at the same place as two banned users who have also logged into Sythe.org from work? Also what do you make of this? VanillaGold The user in question has a history of using VPNs in order to ban evade. Check the location of the users in the report as well as the locations listed for more than a dozen other accounts in @Dunworry's post here Alli/Wumbo/VanillaGold requesting Pardon for Ban evading/scamming and I guarantee they are all from the same general area

 

Not to mention that you are responsible for your own IP. Technically a work IP is your own IP as it's not a proxy and not a mobile IP. The same rule would apply if your brother or friend logged into the same IP as you and was banned, correct?

 

Regardless, in this situation we would need more than a IP match because it's not a home IP.

 

It's basically the same as a home IP. How do you know its a work IP BTW if it's not a proxy or a mobile IP? I've banned people in the past along with others who had nothing more than a few school IPs linked to their account.

 

I did more research, it's a server/vps. It wouldn't be enough for the ban. I think what we ban on and don't ban on has probably changed since then.

 

What do you mean by a server? is that IP a work IP or isn't it?
