[CDT] HIP HOP - Monthly Graphics Challenge #7 [lots of prizes!]

Congrats to @Matt for winning Monthly Graphics Challenge #6!:

This month's theme is: Hip Hop!


How to enter, and what type of graphics do you accept?


All entries must be PM'd to the SOTM account (we will be creating a new account shortly)
There will be a new graphics challenge every month, with the broad theme being picked by the previous winner
Entry process will run from the 1st to the 15th of every month with the voting process starting right after.
All entries must abide by Sythe.org's signature rules (Maximum of 350 pixels in height including all quotes/text/pictures in it and a maximum of 650 pixels in width with all text/quotes/pictures. Additionally, images in your signature may not exceed a file size of 2.5 megabytes.)
The graphics challenge will encompass anything of artistic nature, Good at tags? Great. You a fan of toast art? Awesome. Animated signatures? Cool! good at ascii drawings? Make a piece upload it and submit it to us!

Rules:
If you are submitting an IRL piece you must include two copies, one with your Sythe name on a piece of paper, and one without for voting purposes
No premades
Anyone submitting someone elses work will be banned per the plagiarism rule
Troll designs are not permitted
You cannot include your name in the artwork (Except for irl submissions PM'd to SOTM), or anything that would distinguish you from other artists
Any entry that doesn't match the theme of the month will not be considered.

There will be a new point system added this year.
Everyone who participates in a Monthly Graphics Challenge Will receive 1 points for that month
The winner of the Monthly Graphics Challenge Will receive 2 points for that month.

Points can be used as follows:

4 points can be used to trade in for a sythe.org prizebox.
6 points can be used to trade in for a minirank of your choice. (excluding certain mini's not obtainable by other means)

At the end of the year whomever won the most Monthly Graphics Challenge will WIN a competition winner fun rank (or a different fun rank if you previously own competition winner) (excluding exclusive ranks like staff ranks, highly trusted ect)


Points do not transfer over year to year and are not transferable from person to person

Did not really expect the last SOTM to be like that, but thanks lmao. I'm not in exams anymore, so I'll be able to make something for next SOTM without rushing. @Jack, you got your theme, you must participate man ^^

On the real why is the sig limit (650 x 350) still in effect?

 

and file size limit.

p.s. don't say cause that is the forum signature limits. Competition should be art of the month and not limit it to a signature imo..

 

Is not some file size limit acceptable? Prevents people from making hour long gifs for example

 

2.5 MB is the limit which is too low. I can't make a simple 8 second gif with an effect I like without it going over 6 at least.

 

I originally thought the limit was to prevent the entries to load very slowly on the thread.
If it's not for that, I think 2.5mb is a bit low, I agree.

 

Guess it was in the stars for Jack to have his theme >.>

just remember that the last day for entries is not the 15th, the last day is the 14th. The 15th is when voting starts.

 

So far we've gotten 3 entries, keep entering! There are only 6 days left to enter

 

why are yu still doing that but yur not in cdt?

anyways sent in my really bad and crappy entry, cos I have no motivation or imagination to create anything better :c

 

I've been doing it for the past few months, I enjoy hosting it but if the CDT wants to take over then by all means
