1st Dec, 07:00AM, North Pole


"The ice... The ice! WHERE HAS ALL THE ICE GONE!" screamed Santa's best Elf named @Bert. The sun was glaring down on him, fields of green grass and flowers beneath his feet, butterflies and bees whizzing around above his pointy ears. Snow… ice…? Was nowhere to be seen!


"SANTA... SANTA! THE ICE... THE SNOW... IT’S… IT IS GONE! SANTA!! ...SANTA...Santa!?" his voice trailed off as he ran into Santa’ grotto. Santa was not there. He thought to himself where could Santa be! ... He must be searching for the snow; he must be using his sleigh to check the clouds, something has gone wrong, something ... so terrible... No snow? Thoughts were now racing his mind. Not knowing what to do, Bert the Elf sat there crying blubbering mumbles.


"Snow"... "Santa-sleigh-snow"... tears rolling down his cheeks, his face in his small palms...

"SNOW- SNOW... no Snow? No Ice? No...No NONONO!" trembling with fear as he worried about Santa.


Mrs @Chloe Claus entered the grotto, with the brightest red exhausted flustered face she almost looked like Rudolf with a shiny red nose.

"BERT! You silly Elf, STOP CRYING!" shrieked Mrs Claus.


"Oh... oh, MRS CLAUS I AM SO GLAD TO SEE YOU, SANTA? SANTA he has disappeared..." Bert tried to regain himself with an expression of soppy sorrow scarring his bright red cheeked face.


"I know... he is... well... resting" she explained somewhat reassuring the confused Elf.

"Look Bert I am about to tell you something, you need to calm down ok. Something has gone terribly wrong, Mr Claus... well... Mr Claus... well... I mean... I... I... I just I mean..." she trailed off as she sobbed into her hands.


"Mrs Claus? What is terribly wrong? Oh please! Will you tell me, the presents, the snow, where is everything, what is happening!? Where is Santa?" with big eyes he wondered what could be happening with the North Pole.


"C-c-c-om-mme wit-t-t-th-thh-h m-meeee" still sobbing and pointing him towards the room. The elf followed Mrs Claus into Santa's bedroom... where Santa laid, motionless.


"Oo-h-h-h-m-m-muh-muh-my..." stumbling his words as his gaze was locked staring at Santa.

"No…Santa? NO SANTA?!...NO... b-b-bu-buh-but he I-S-ss-s FF-F-R-R-O-Z-EE-EN!" he burst out, now whaling with tears streaming down his already bright red cheeks.


3rd Dec, 15:00PM, South Pole


"HAHAHA, foolish Elf’s! Think they are better than me" roared Grinchard, more commonly known as Richard the Grinch.

"EVERYONE... everyone must play Sythe.org" he spat, as if anyone was listening.

"MWUAHAHEHEHEHEHEAHEHAHEAHE" he shrieks as he rubbed his palms together being ever so conniving.


5th Dec 12:00PM, Toronto - Canada


"Mommy… Mummy why is there no snow?" Charlotte asks.

"Sweet-heart, please do not be upset, but… well… Santa has been frozen. All the snow and ice..." replied Gracious, Charlotte’s mother.

"What? No! Santa… SANTA JUST CANNOT BE FROZEN! I WANT MY PRESENTS" screamed little Charlotte.

"Oh sweetie" Gracious hugs Charlotte close.

"Dear look it is nice and sunny outside, how about you go and play" she attempts to reassure her child.

"NO MOMMY" tears rolling down Charlotte's face.

"I want to play in the snow and make SNOW ANGELS" screamed Charlotte.


The news of Santa being frozen spreads over vast lands. There will be no Christmas it seems. As the rumours spread, children seem to think there will be no presents, no turkey and no festive fun.


7th Dec 06:45AM, North Pole


"Oh no NOT AGAIN - I have broken another Blue-pig" cried an Elf in the distance.


It took days and days for the Elves to make toys. With no Christmas spirit and only a slight hope that Santa will defrost, they attempted to create the toys for the children all around the world. Mrs Chloe Claus was spending endless hours at attempting to defrost her husband - failing each and every time.


“Oh for crying out loud… I just cannot paint this Matt doll right!” moaned another Elf.


The elves whispered and sighed amongst themselves worrying as they could not get the toys correct. Now behind schedule and frustrated with how many toys they were breaking they wondered if there was anyone who could help them.


9th Dec 5:00AM, North Pole


“Rudolf… Rudolf? Here boy! Come on boy, where are you?” Bert called out for Rudolf but he wasn’t out on the fields. Bert thought to himself where could Rudolf be, he went and looked inside.


“Rudolf, what are you doing in here? You don’t look too great”. Bert had found Rudolf lying beside Santa’ bed. Rudolf did not look well.


“Uwwwhhhhh” moaned Rudolf, as he stuck his snout up to Bert.


“Oh this is not good, Rudolf your nose. Your nose your red nose, it is fading!” exclaimed Bert as he worried about Rudolf.


Rudolf was extremely upset that Santa would not wake up, he missed his owner and his red nose was fading… everyone knew what this would mean… Rudolf would not survive. Something had to be done.

The community of Sythe had realised Richard the Grinch was nowhere to be seen. Why had he not come on for days? They were debating, speculating and memeing about the chances that Grinchard was behind all of this no snow show up scandal in 2016.


“So we all agree we are going to the North Pole. There is something wrong and I definitely believe Grinchard is behind it” posted Tyler.

“We need to help the Elves” agreed Shin.

The notice had gone up. Members from old and new agreed to travel to the North Pole in order to help the Elves and Santa.


15th Dec 17:00AM South Pole


“So… @Jack Frost…. You foolish being, you hate me so much, do you? Did you not realise being that salty would pay the price? Such a weak child, oh boohoo don’t get your way do you huh? MWUAHAHAHA, well you should have thought about that. Mr Frosty doesn’t think being salty won’t defrost your soul. Well it’s a good thing you’re such a cry baby. All this magical power is now mine. HAHAHAHAHA!”

“You won’t get away with this Richard. You think you have my magic, but you won’t get away with this, let me go!” exclaimed Jack who was not so very frosty anymore, but had been kidnapped by Grinchard.

Jack Frost had spent his year feeling ever so salty and annoyed at Grinchard. Everyone knows salt melts ice, all the salt had build-up and crushed Jacks soul.

Richard runs about gleefully as he *Sprinkles Salt*.


17th Dec 05:00AM North Pole


Sythe members had arrived at the North Pole two days earlier, they had begun helping the Elves making toys, with all their efforts, creating toys big and small cheeky and nice, by the millions and billions toys stacked up, present boxes everywhere. They had created trillions of snowflake designs out of paper and spread them all over the green fields to try and imitate the snow helping Rudolf and the Elves.


19th Dec 11:00AM South Pole


“What is this, nobody on Sythe.org? What kind of mockery. Why!” Grinchard was panicking, he saw the post and realised they were helping Santa. Richard grew furious, his ratings had fallen and his profits were down. He thinks and thinks for hours until…

“Yes, YES! HAHAHAA of-course I will … yes I will use these powers I will freeze them all, in a bubble of ice, haha! They will never escape and Christmas will never happen!”


“oh no… I can’t let this happen” whispered Jack Frost over hearing Grinchard.


Jack uses his remaining brain power sending a telekinetic brain signal to TTB. @Time To Buy is the most renowned specialist Christmas store owner. TTB senses the danger, travelling to the North Pole he has to warn everyone.


21st Dec 03:00AM North Pole


“STOP STOP EVERYONE STOP! DANGER! IT’S COMING; GRINCHARD IS GOING TO FREEZE US ALL!” TTB cried as he warned everyone.

“JACK FROST HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED, WE MUST HELP HIM” he screamed.


“Oh no this is bad, very bad. TTB you have to send him a message back, tell him we need his help, he has to be strong; he has to overcome his hate for Sythe.org! We need to work together and overcome Grinchard!” explained Mrs Chloe Claus.


23rd Dec Christmas Eve South Pole


Jack Frost tries his hardest, he knows he has to overcome Grinchard, he spent the last two days gaining strength as he watched Grinchard plan to freeze everyone. As he breaks out of his locks he runs to stop Richard.


“RICHARD THIS IS YOUR LAST, you will not win this time! I am better than you. The Sythe community has taught me that!”


“NOOOO!”


*Jack punches Grinchard in the face!*


The spark from the punch reverses the magical powers back to Jack and he quickly freezes Grinchard till the holidays are over.


24th Dec, North Pole, 20:00PM

Jack travels over the lands spreading snow and ice and as he does so, the snow that Santa is locked within defrosts around him.

“HO HOH HO! MERRRY CHRRRIISSTMASS” roars Santa as he awakens. Rudolf hears Santa and miraculously is awakening prancing about like Prancer! The elves are relieved the snow is back, and Jack has defeated Grinchard. Mrs Claus smiles gleefully, as she is ever so happy to have Mr Claus back as she cuddles him. Everyone is happy and Santa travels the world in the night to give presents to all.


25th Dec Christmas Day, London, 12:00PM


Snow falls everywhere, happy children, happy parents, presents galore and snow angels and more! But one little girl isn’t so happy; Sonia never received her present.


*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* the knocks echoed throughout the sad gloomy house. Sonia ran to the door hoping Santa had not forgotten her, opening the door and in front of her was a present, a big present, she looked at it in shock.


Scotty broke through the Christmas wrapping, hugging her whilst lifting her up.

Sonia smiled, her dreams coming true. That is all she wanted for Christmas!
