hey long time no see man, good to see you active on sythe again :)

I've heard people speculating it'll start going down around $1,000-1,050. I have no idea if that's true or what. I personally had a couple coins at around 720 and sold at about 890. Should have kept it but whatever, profit is profit :p

Yeah, I think $1k is the goal for people to dump. It's gaining a lot of popularity in places like Russia, Venezuela, India, and China (When their economy isn't very stable). More bad things happen to the economy of countries, the better it is for bitcoin. It's already hit $1k in China and India I believe. Of course if it doesn't drop, it could very well rise. It would probably get a lot more coverage and users interested in dipping themselves in if it touches $1k again. There's also people waiting for it to drop to rebuy, hoping it's just another bubble or it'll drop hard soon.

i think it will stick around the 950-1k margin for the next few days then it may reach its peak 1k before it slides down . i had coins that i had at 800 i sold at 900 because it was steady then it dropped 40$ through the night

Probably going to hit some resistance around 1k, but if it holds for a day or two it will make the trek up to 1.1k, possibly 1.2k. I don't see it touching 1.4k before the bubble pops.

Even though everyone's occupied by the rise in BTC price, few are actually talking about the Monero (XMR) rise. It's been around 7.9 for a while then this month trekked up to 12-13, then leveled off at 14 for a few days.. Just checked again after a few hours and it's at 16. Great time to be mining it :D

I'd say it will reach a max of 1.2 if it doesn't fall before that.

Monero is controlled by a select few whales and pricing is largely due to speculation (and dark market integration). Ethereum actually provides value beyond the currency itself and could produce a new form of contractual governance for many industries that are using outdated methods. Bitcoin will always remain relevant in cryptocurrencies with 1st mover advantage.

Bitcoin isn't something that's practical to mine anymore. That coin specifically allows ASICs miners, which are advanced dedicated computing devices, to mine it, meaning that the cost of electricity and cooling will always exceed the cash that you produce. If you wanted to mine and make profit, your best bet is monero (XMR) or ethereum (ETH). These two coins have had MASSIVE price surges this month and week, respectively. I've personally been able to make ~$3.20/day mining monero with 2x RX 480 4g GPUs. If you pay for your own power, your earning will be less, but if you want to talk 1 on 1, my skype is ri.f.s
