there are fees. if arcus sent you $45 and there was a $1.67 fee, you get $43.33. unless you agreed to have arcus cover the fees there's nothing wrong here

There wouldn't be a 4% fee. If anything, they use a different wallet and value the bitcoin at a higher rate than what John uses. The best thing to recommend would be to agree on a bitcoin price or exact amount of bits per mill/trade before doing the trade. I think they use OKcoin for bitcoin values, if you can somehow prove at that time they did just end up shorting you (by using the coin price at that time) then I would assume they'd need to pay the difference, @Superfluous?

Hi if you visit this https://i.dawgy.pw/i/3114fccdf3.png you can see the transaction fee was $ 0.09 which makes their argument invalid and shows proof that I am due money to the mentioned BTC address in the original post.

    EDIT: I will now accept a minimum of 1.64$ which is $45 - $43.27 - $0.09 = $1.64

EDIT2: As highlighted through https://i.dawgy.pw/i/b52d31230c.png and https://i.dawgy.pw/i/a8420ad120.png there is no mention of additional fees.

EDIT3: As highlighted in the OP one of the screenshots shows the closing price for 5 exchanges which also include OKCOIN which may be related to OKCOINCN which is what they use. This was within 5minutes of the transaction taking place. (I just asked them)

    from apith:
either way, not taking action over this over a $1. discuss fees with arcus prior to trading again in the future.
