RuneWealth requesting a pardon for "Account Ownership Change"

Hi everyone, I know my account has not been banned yet but since @malakadang said he would do it very soon I'll get this ready and posted already.

Report/post/reason that got you banned: Reason the account got or will be banned for is the reason that the ownership of the account has changed. Not due to buying or selling, but due to the ownership of the company this account was associated with has changed.

Proof of contacting victims for repayment or repayment of victims: No scam has happened / no repayment needed.

Anything you weren't banned for but want to confess to now: Nothing I can come up with.

Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you:

This will be quite a bit so let's start of.

This account is used to advertise www.RuneWealth.com with here on Sythe. However in months passing by, the previous owner of the goldsite RuneWealth had a great oppurtunity irl which he had to grab for which he granted me (I already worked at RuneWealth) with the ownership of it. He passed on all the details like paypal, emails, hosting, but indeed also all forum accounts and passwords. Therefor also the Sythe one. I knew account sharing was not allowed on Sythe and this account has never been shared, I knew selling accounts was not allowed, same there, that has not happened, but what I did not know was that an account is always considered 'Linked to a person' rather then also being able 'Linked to a company'.

If I knew so, I would have never used this account in the first place and simply made a new account to use and expand my business with.

I have always loved Sythe, if it were for gold sales, if it were for chats you could have but I also used it a lot to find Graphics People here. I never intented to break any rule doing so, and I hope you guys believe me for that.

If I would have wanted to do so, I would have lied to @malakadang in pm when he asked me if the ownership ever changed. I replied without knowing anything that it indeed changed from the previous owner of the RuneWealth website, to me.

If this however is the rule on Sythe and even without me knowing it should find a ban I understand so. But then I hope I'm allowed to make a new account on here, gladly donate again or whatever is needed to continue using Sythe for my company.

I see it as a one on one relation between the company (RuneWealth) and the Sythe account so for that I do apologize and I'm sorry for breaking the rules even without not knowing it.

I know rules are made for a reason and should be followed, so therefore my sincere apologies.


Once again, if there is anything I can do, even if it is that I need to create a new account on here, I will do so.


I'll sum it up there and thank everyone for reading this and I will understand if you either way support or don't support this.

I personally believe you should make a new Sythe account, since RuneWealth doesn't belong to you.
You can't go giving away Sythe accounts because it is linked to a website.

 

I support a pardon. There was no malicious intent, and it seems that IF RuneWealth was told that he had to recreate his Sythe account, then he would have done so from the beginning. Those facts however, are not relevant since selling your Sythe account is an absolute liability offence, attracting a permanent ban, irrespective of intention or mistake.

The lack of a malicious intent and a mistake regarding the rules, however, should be relevant in a pardon. For those reasons, I support the pardon.

Whether RuneWealth will have to create a new Sythe account, or can continue using his current Sythe account is a matter the USL can decide.

 

Strage case, I do support a pardon however I do NOT support the unban of your current account. There would be no way for us to check who's who, so if this passes I think you should make a new account.

 

I support the pardon as well. Is there some possible way we could possibly link the old account to a new one? Maybe state in the User Title of the old account - New owner is "insert new acc here"

 

It's very possible we could just add a UT for you Runewealth, is that something you'd be okay with?

 

this boils down to the sale of assets including a sythe account. trading sythe accounts should always result in a perm ban of that account, imo. if you want to make a new account, you're welcome to (i support this aspect of the pardon), but i do not support you using someone else's account as if it were your own from the start.

tldr - runewealth should stay banned; you can make your own sythe account
