    I don't hate the mod apps process now but I did prefer the older way, it was extra experience for upper staff for being able to view and pick out potentials they think would make good on the staff. Obviously they can still do this with mod apps, but it's better experience on trying to find those people yourself rather than a stack of mod apps for you to go through at some point.

    Can potential staff still be approached for a position if upper staff feel they would be a good addition? (even if they haven't applied?)
