IPhone 6s, screen is going out on me though.

 

I can't really say, my last phone was a nexus 5. I'd choose the pixel again any day if I got it at the same price ($239)

 

1+3 chinese phones are the choice to go if looking for price performance ratio.

 

iPhone 7+ it's not a bad phone has the galaxy s6 before so it's been a weird transition back to apple from android

I have an iPhone 6. Probably gonna wait til the /next/ iPhone is out to get a new phone. This phone has legit dents in it, it has survived so much that it must be lucky.

 

Mine is the same way, I have legit gashes in the aluminum in the upper right hand corner from dropping it so many times. Finally had the screen crack on me the other day when it slipped out of my pocket sitting at the computer lol.

For as much shit as people were giving it on release (flimsy phone, it bends etc. etc.) it's been incredibly durable.

Sounds like your wife is just another mush-brain zombie consumer Apple fan tbh. Google Hangouts and Facebook video chat are both better than Skype for mobile but would allow you to use a clearly superior device.

don't be that cunt that thinks android is the best. there are pro's and con's to both. Who gives a fuck? I love android, but i also have an ipad pro. I couldn't give a fuck about either, it's his money, let him spend it. recently switched to an iPhone 6+ after years of using all variations of Android. I mainly did it to try something new and although I miss somethings, it was a great breath of fresh air and I would do it again if I had the chance. It's really simple in what it does but it does everything I need it to while not having anything extra/unnecessary. Not saying one is better than the other, but just my two cents.

 

This is how I've always seen it. I know I'm paying a bit more for worse hardware, but overall performance tests always have iPhones competing against if not outperforming the current fotm android phone that's out. I know I'm being bottleneck ed in my customization and features, but all I want my phone for is snapchat, reddit, messaging and the internet tbh. No need to complicate things with features I'll get bored finicking with in a few months time. Don't get me wrong, I know iOS is lacking, but usually key features on Android eventually get carried over or is just a version of what iOS can already do.

Samsung has already been pumping out shit for the last few years, essentially mimicking what people rag on iOS phones for, and I wouldn't be surprised to see other companies follow. At the moment I'm just milking the life out of my iPhone 6 and will most likely turn to a Pixel or iPhone 8 next year. I really like the LG V20, but it really seems like LG/HTC/Motorola/Android Company continually pump out phones that are "revolutionary" for a few months with one or two new features (dual rear cameras, "3d video", "3d screen", "front facing HD audio") then fades away to irrelvancy once people get over these features.
