Strongest MIDLANE Champions

I would like your guy's opinion on the top 5 Strongest mid Lane champs Currently And why you think they are strong right now

 

Syndra, Cassiopeia, Kennen/Jayce (better top lane, though), Zed (especially in SoloQ) and Orianna in higher elo.

 

Syndra: Her 'point and click' ultimate is retarded for the laning phase and picks (tons of damage). And she is very good at moving enemy champions, and setting up your gank for kills with her stun. Gotta handle her balls correctly though.

Cassiopeia: Her E spam deals a ridiculous amount of consistent damage that can catch many people out if you build Rylais since they can't get away; you can punish people heavily for missing their spells since you can't miss yours. Her root is also retarded since it renders a lot of mobile champions (adcs specifically) useless. Her ultimate is also a team fight game changer if you can stun multiple people.

Orianna: Laning phase is extremely easy. You can cs well with this champ even if you're up against a much more skilled player. And her ult is a very linear game changer. Use your ult to get kills, and cs to maximum power.

Aurelion Sol: Requires a good deal of map awareness, you rely heavily on roaming. Snowball your other lanes. Plus your ult provides a lot of safety, assuming you don't miss. Dopa said Aurelion Sol has a broken laning phase. "A bronze player can get out of lane against Challenger if they play Aurelion Sol" He's very hard to run away from as well, like Cass. Damage output is not good imo. Dont really see that many Sol players anymore.

Viktor: ??? Idk. Just does a lot of damage. Wtf.

Bard: Always good. Never bad.

I guess Zed too. He's super mobile and pokes well. If you play him well, you should almost always win lane. His high single-target damage output makes him good in solo q where there is less organization and less team-oriented gameplay. His roam potential is very good too since it's seldom "too late" for him to walk into another lane. Even if the enemy laners see him coming in, Zed can catch up if they start to back out.

Kennen is just very good late game. Kennen's ult is maybe one of the best teamfight ults rn. He can be played top, mid, and support, just for the value of his mass stun + damage.

 

It all depends on the elo tbh like lux could be a very op pick since combo but in higher elo syndra could be stronger since more mechanics needed

 

spam cass = free elo

 

I think Lux is stupid right now. Her early game harass is through the roof.

Y'all sleeping on sol, except for seller, he is in my opinion only second to syndra

 

Syndra, Orianna, Sol, Cassio, Viktor in that order. Not too sure on where the reworked champs sit though.

 

I'm not saying Evenlynn is by any means the strongest mid-laner but i've never seen her used in a lane and I do pretty well considering everyone is like "oh god we lost eve mid"
granted these aren't even full builds I'm using as examples, even if I don't carry the game i'm always good at doing a lot of damage and always trying to improve this build, might try some additional critical strike chance for more damage.

 

Curious if you're on the eve mains discord/sub?

Personally I would say gunblade rush for the sustain against poke and burst into a ludens to keep the damage up early. Definitely much stronger in the jungle because she can be abused massively in lane.

Hybrid builds aren't too great in lane from what I know since she's both melee and extremely squishy so you have to rely on blowing someone up before they kill you. Gunblade also gets you through lane pretty similarly to how it helps Akali.

 

Honestly for climbing the ladder from low elo Id go for Lux and Lux only. The only problem could be the skillshot landing, takes practice to get used to the range and projectile speed. Overall great clear, long range skills, fair AP ratios, deletes carries if caught with the double bind. Freelo as the lads say. Good luck in the rift

 

Syndra Ori Cass Azir and Ryze

 

Zed is massively OP in solo queue if you understand how to exploit him in miscommunication - because he can easily 1v1 if you understand his mechanics, you can outplay and splitpush to win.

 

I don't think a 2/3 win rate in normals is a representative of how good Evelynn is

Eve doesnt have the right abilitys to be a good laner either. Its a pure ganker

 

Correct, too much of her value as a champion goes into her element of surprise. I guarantee she would never work as a competitive laner no matter how hard people tried.

 

Guys, I don't play ranked. I don't even consider myself a huge LoL player to be honest. But I'm enjoying the game a bit more than I used to.

Regardless, you guys are underestimating what the element of surprise can do for you whether of if you're laning or not, just because YOU don't know of a good play style, doesn't mean someone else can't find one.
