[Food] Qdoba - Chicken Burrito Review

Qdoba is a fast-casual restaurant similar to Chipotle and owned by Jack-in-the-Box. It offers larger burritos with a wider selection all the fixings under one price. So yes, guacamole AND queso are included.

MSRP: $7.79, but I pay at most $6.23.

I thought about using a knife to cut it but... hangry.

Qdoba actually has one of the best quesos around, not only for a fast-casual place, but for any place. It's really amazing queso, especially this time. It is like they knew I was going to review it, so they made the best burrito I've had in a while.

My personal toppings are below, which is almost every topping they have:

• Cilantro Rice
• Black Beans and/or Pinto Beans
• 3-cheese Queso
• Guacamole
• Fiery Habanero x2
• Cheese
• Lettuce
• Jalapenos
• Cilantro
• Tortilla Strips
• Will try Sour Cream one day

Better price than Chipotle if you get guacamole and/or queso. The ingredients taste almost the same, though I'll admit Chipotle's individual ingredients taste quite good when they don't kill you . It doesn't offer flavored tortillas or hand-made tortillas like some local places do, but that's okay. Their habanero sauce isn't even spicy at all - if anything it is sour/tangy. So, I wish they had an actually spicy sauce like some local places do.

But those aren't dealbreakers in the slightest. When you combine all of Qdoba's ingredients, you get something marvelous. Sure, it could be better, but that would only drive costs up and I don't want that .

Spicy Queso - Horrible taste, very slight heat. I cannot explain the taste, but it is a strong and weird falvor.
3-Cheese Queso - *moans*
Queso Verde - *moans*, but is always a bit raunchy because it is a new LTO. You're better off getting the OG Queso.
Buffalo Bacon Queso - Haven't dared to try this one out.

High 5/5 Seal of Approval. Any improvements they make are welcome, but not needed. This place is my favorite chain restaurant and I could eat it every day.

I'd get this again. I've been here way too often...
