Ban Dicing runescape accounts

I was considering posting to dice my runescape account after seeing no where in the rules that it's not allowed, but then I realized this could create a huge mess that staff don't need to deal with. Although I've never seen anyone post dicing their account, I think it's a rule that should be added.

Accounts being recovered. Thought it was obvious, but I guess not.

 

Alright so let's ban people selling accounts at all seen as thought they can also recover there accounts lol? Loads of people who sell there accounts recover there accounts, if people want to do that they will. Be it after losing a dice duel or selling it.

Let me dumb it down for you.

User A is betting his maxed main, User B is betting 250m

If User A wins he wins 250m, If he loses he gives up his account to user B

But in retrospect this could be a win/win scenario for user A. As he either wins 250m or he could just eventually recover his account.

It's just another way to minimize scams, don't see why you wouldn't agree with that.

 

Yeah I understand perfectly well people can recover accounts, that's why people are advised to buy them of trusted members. Why are you presuming the account owner will recover it, no matter the pretence accounts can be recovered by the oo. We could minimise scams in many ways but they conflict with our free market attitude.

 

If you don't trust the guy to not recover the account don't dice him for the account? It's as simple as that.

 

IMO, it will add more "scam quitting". You have a point though, don't dice them if you don't trust them.

 

No support. You dont seem to understand that accounts can always be recovered whether they are diced, sold, or gifted. It makes no difference.

There's always the risk of not receiving the prize commodity when you dice; it's something you have to consider when you take a bet.

 

I fully understand. But dicing is different from account selling in my eyes. You're gambling not selling. When people gamble they often make irrational decisions and will risk anything to make a quick buck. But it seems this idea of a "free market" triumphs all.

 

There's no risk of not receiving the prize when you dice if you use a trustworthy MM.

You are correct. On this site, "risk of scam" is not something considered. The only things that warrant attention are "already scammed" and "clearly going to scam".

 

The reason the "free market triumphs all" is because if we implemented things like this for "safety" and to "reduce the risk of scam" then it'd significantly lower the activity this site has. Things such as not letting new users sell accounts etc. I see how yours differs slightly but you catch my drift.
