I don't get how mootrucks doesn't realize he's PROBABLY at fault here. There shouldn't be 6 pages of discussion lol if I buy a toaster and go to sleep and wake up to find out my toaster has exploded before I even plugged it in I'm going back to the store and they're giving me another toaster

 

As much as I agree with you, Wintastical, he's not the sole cause of the 6 pages of discussion.

at the end, sellers like moo, are not comparable to major brands which sell products to hundreds of thousand of people, and, they fix mistakes like that as quick as possible because they care more about their reputation on a single client than the money of that sale. Saying this, sometimes the buyer can be at fault too.

this scalated because both of them felt that the other was wrong, and because of the different reputations of each one of them, (one is seen as the bad guy, and the other one as the good guy).

What it needs to be frowned uppon is the lack of insight from the staff, the missinformation related on how bot or banning works, there were alot of question that need to be done (Im going to make a feedback thread to the staff about it) and of course, the lack of discipline in the report forum, I can understand the reason with all the cursing trash talking with one of the sides of the defendants, but what I dont understand is why no one in the staff asked him to stop behaving such way.

And of course, no one should have the right to post biased information and they should be infracted by the staff if they fail to do so, besides the fact the should not be commenting in there on the first place.

There's alot to be learned from this kind of situation, and it takes me by surprise, because im a new user to this forum, I dont even have a year, and something like this can happen.

Well it's a special case because Gun thinks he's hot shit and mootrucks is a flaming homosexual, that's why things turned out the way they did.

I think staff did fine considering it's a case with no evidence, there's not much they can do. But it seems more probable the seller is responsible for something like this. Obviously you're not responsible for anything that happens to an account months down the road after it's sold... but within 24 hours it's banned? Seems pretty sketch to me

Like I said, they should have asked more questions. The thing is, anything could have happened, in cases like this the best approach could be just corroborate some of the facts both of the parties are claiming, like is it true: x person lvl the account and used no bots/ is it true the defendant went to sleep at that time you claim, etc. there was alot of time to issue questions like.

The wisest inmediate decision should have been a partial refund (Deciding to not decide) when you have no proof of anything, not warrant TWCS (Both parties), stripping ranks etc

There needs to be some rules stablished regarding accusation, report threads, regarding how much time a thread like that can be open, about revisions, about everything, there should be a limited amount of responses allowed so not everytime it becomes a really dense circus. leave that to discord, and dont allow discord chat as proof, cause anything can be taken out of context.
