I use OSBuddy myself, from the looks of the screenshots Agwa sent me while training it looks like he used the original client. (If any staff member wants all the screenshots that he sent me feel free to contact me)

I just want to lay this out one final time before you guys make a decision, potentially a horrible one.

I looked for an account like this for 2 weeks to purchase when my DNT came off. I found this one, and waited until my DNT was off to purchase it.

Timeline of actual events, fuck yourself if you think I'm blurting shit out:
The account was paid $70 btc early afternoon.
The miniranks were sent around 8:30 PM.
The account was received just before 9:00 PM.
I checked the acc and bought a berserker neck off @BumBum and went to sleep shortly afterwards.
I woke up, went to work.
Came home, acc was banned. Banned at 1:30 pm.

By Mootruck's statement, why would I not have taken 40 chances at botting it myself if I didn't mind taking that risk?

How/Why would I have had time to buy a bot, a script, set it up, do all of that but not have time to change the pw/email before I went to sleep?

Logically nothing here makes sense on Mootrucks behalf.

Tell me what you need from me and I'll provide it. Because this is bullshit. Especially with everyone jumping to some bullshit conspiracy that I risked $160 just to get an account banned and pin it on Mootrucks, are you fucking serious? You're all honestly a bunch of fucking weeb fucks.

You bring up my history of posting on botting sites/threads for botting on this site , should I post about the dozens of times you've vaded/scammed/fucked people over/lied? I mean really come on, Gun.

Lets not even mention the fact that I have dozens of account sales and YOU're the only person who has ever had a problem...

 

After reviewing the facts of this case with @Sythe, there's no evidence which holds @Gun accountable for the macroing ban.

It appears @Mootrucks was the one who trained the account and no warning of the account being banned for macroing was communicated. From what is available, one cannot determine the reason for Jagex placing a macroing ban on the account. Given the time frame in which the ban was placed and the account being "complete", it's difficult to think of a reason why the account would have been botted or banned at all. As such, Jagex likely has a reason for banning the account which is unclear to us all.

This case has been blown out of proportion and I don't think I need to remind anyone the risks they take when selling accounts.

Thus, it has been decided @Mootrucks must refund $67.57 USD (via BTC) using Coinbase rates and any miniranks that were transferred.
In addition, @Gun will need to return any and all information to @Mootrucks so access is restored and that he might be able to appeal the ban by some other means.

 

My post was to say that a 24 hour is very possible, I've had accounts banned within 12 hours, I start the bot, wake up, it's banned.
So any post saying it isn't possible, it is very possible and it happens quite frequently.

Also, I'm not pinning the blame on Gun, I was asked for my opinion and I gave it because I have experience with bans and botting.

 

Well that and the fact that the account could of been botted on by Gun himself...

 

I've stripped @Mootruck's CDT perms and issued a TwC until the matter is resolved.

This is due to being adamant in refusing to issue a refund if it is so decided as a shop owner.

 

You knew I was joking when I mentioned my autistic cousin trained the account so not sure why you're bringing it up once again, no Agwa is not my cousin, my autistic cousin doing stuff has been an on going meme in the discord.

Either way we're back to square one again, either you or Agwa botted it, if Agwa botted it that would be a 5 month delayed ban which sounds a bit insane to me but we'll see how this report turns out I guess.

 

The next person not a party to this dispute who posts something utterly irrelevant, I will ban for 3 days. This includes posts about 'ramen'; they are not relevant, for those who were unsure.

Yeah the $5 not I bought after this was already decided to suicife not it until it's banned to prove you don't just get insta banned. Cry me a river idiots.

 

Gun is a scumbag who openly admits to botting and has a track record of lying, scamming, and stealing.

I thought it was a well established rule that once you sell an account you are no longer responsible for any bans that the account incurs for reasons exactly like this claim.

When did this change? This sets a nice precedent for the site to buy up a bunch of accounts, risk botting on them, and then hey, if you end up getting banned you can always get your refund. This is clearly a loophole Gun thought about and specifically targeted.

As someone who has sold many, many accounts on Sythe I have never witnessed a "delayed ban" with botting, ever. The bot detection system that has been on 07 for years now is automated and bans are delivered within 1-2 days, typically immediately following being caught. It is very clear Gun botted this account. It amazes me that this idiot is still allowed to use the site after repeated issues like this, aren't staff tired of him yet?

 

I think you guys are letting personal opinions cloud your judgement. There are various "flags" that can get accounts banned for actions taken before those "flags". For example if the IP changes drastically then I've seen accounts that haven't botted for weeks get banned instantly (or within 48 hours). In fact, this is very common when people botted in different locations and change their IP.

For example, botting on a VPS and then getting an IP change on that VPS can lead to a ban on an account that was running without bots for 1 month (the ban would be for macroing). So delayed bans are definitely, 100% a thing and people saying they aren't are lying or speaking out of their ass.

I've dealt with a number of such cases since we deal with Runescape complaints often at VPSGamers(VirMach).
