Going to leave this to the current mods working on this but as someone who has botted quite frequently on both RS3 and 07 - some accounts are banned within a few hours of botting, it is very possible Gun botted over night and it got banned in the morning, it has happened to me multiple times. Even when I had membership on the account.

 

I have never botted in my fucking life, and have never been banned. You're all skeptic fucks. I literally came home, logged in once he game me the info, stole a zerker neck from @BumBum and went to bed. Got home from work the next day and it was banned. The only thing i had to do on the account at the moment was slayer which u cant even bot.. I literally fucking hate all of you for how this situation is playing out you ignorant fucks.

 

Lets not take away the possibility of Gun logging into rs3 and botting as well, appreciate the response though.

So seeing as it was not a manual ban, you are trying to tell me that in 13 hours (a majority of that being time jagex is not in-office), the system monitored your acc, determined it was using 3rd party software, a j-mod manually reviewed it and then the system banned it? You're all fucking lunatics. Read the ban description. You fucked up in the recent past and the account got dinged for your mistake.

It's literally in the description of the ban. If it was manual it would say so.

I'm not responsible for an account that was already sold, not to mention the fact that the guy did the training 5 months ago, i'm not sure about you but I don't think a ban would be delayed 5 months? Literally a day after the account was sold to you and this has happened.

 

To be fair, those consumer protection laws say that if the consumer is the cause of the fault, the guarantee is void (at least in Australia) [although if the good was supplied with a pre-existing fault, then even if the consumer triggered it, the supplier is still liable].

Ya'll are slinging mud now for no reason - no progress will be made until Sythe's questions are answered:

1. Did Agwa hand-train it fully or only partially?
   • If he didn't hand-train it fully, and the representation was that the account was 'hand-trained', then a full-refund should be in order as the account supplied did not match the description.
2. How long does it take Jagex to ban accounts - what is the process?
   • If in most cases Jagex takes longer than 24 hours, then that suggests on balance, it is more probable that the account was botted on prior to sale, and that is all that Gun needs to point to to satisfy his burden on a balance of probabilities. If Jagex not irregularly bans accounts within a few hour of botting, then Gun will need to do more to satisfy his burden.

Any other comments, without answering those questions, such as X could have done this, or Y could have done that is just plain verbal diarrhea.

 

I truly just want to know the logic on how I had time to buy a script since I didn't actively play prior, download the client, set it up, enable it. When i didn't even have time to change the pw or email before I went off to sleep.

Anyone who knows me will attest that I'm probably not even capable of setting that shit up. Why would I spend $160 just to destroy/risk an account? $160 would have given me 40 opportunities to bot it myself without the $160 expenditure. I've been trying to buy one of these accs for weeks once my DNT ran up, Why would i not have just invested $4 into a bond and done it myself in that time frame rather than waiting it out just to bot it at the end?

Like can someone please just look at this fucking rationally.

 

I get where you're coming from, though I think what you may or may not have done is a third consideration. Best to deal with 1 and 2 first, and then consider everything together.
