New Feature: Edit Invites

Hi-

I've just finished a new feature which was requested by a few people: the ability to invite people to edit your threads.

Basically you can invite someone to edit your thread and give them the ability to:
- Edit the thread's title
- Edit the thread's first post
- View the first post's edit history

To invite someone:
- Go to a thread and click the Thread Tools menu
- Click the Manage Edit Invites button
- Enter the user's username and click Save
** They will get an alert letting them know you invited them

Once you invite someone, they will see the appropriate Edit and History buttons on the thread's first post. They'll also see the option to Edit Thread Title under the Thread Tools menu.

To remove someone from your thread:
- Go to a thread and click the Thread Tools menu
- Click the Manage Edit Invites button
- Check the delete box next to their username and click Save

If you have any issues with this feature or have any questions, please let me know or file a bug in the bug tracker.

 

If you ask me, it should have been enforced before. They can't be misleading people regardless of this feature's ability. So yes, market thread owners should be held responsible for their content/pricing being accurate. You may wish to poke some of the globals or market mods about this.
